There are series of religious event which are to take place in the month of September in the famous ancient temple of Lord Sri Govinda Raja Swamy, which happens to be one of the most important sub-shrines under the umbrella of TTD in Tirupati.
> During the Fridays which falls on September 5, 12,19 and 26, there will be procession of Sri Andal Ammavaru along the four mada streets.
> On September 7, as it happens to be Shravana-the birth star of Lord, the processional deities will take celestial ride along the four mada steets by 5.30pm.
> Following Pournami on September 9, there will be Garuda Seva on the same day evening by 7pm
> On September 15, with the advent of Rohini star, the Lord Parthasaradhi flanked by Goddess Rukmini and Goddess Satyabhama will grace the devotees by 5.30pm
> With the asterism of Uttara falling on September 24, the Lord Govinda Raja Swamy accompanied by his two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi will bless the devotees along the four mada streets by 5.30pm.
