In every incarnation of Maha Vishnu, pearl is considered to his favourite Navaratna, as it is the indication of peace and prosperity.
In Krishnavatara, Lord Sri Krishna is often described as wearing a fresh and precious pearl at the tip of his nose in the phrase-“Nasagre Nava Mouktikam” which shows his fond for pearl. Similarly Lord Venkateswara is often praised as “Mouktika Sragvi” as the one who wears a garland of precious pearls. While describing Sri Maha Vishnu it is said that the 1000 hoods of Adisesha appeared like an umbrella made of pearls.
