The EO also suggested the engineering wing to see that there is no water logging conditions prevail inside Tirumala Shrine, in mada streets and near queue lines during the ensuing rainy season.
Later the EO instructed the vigilance wing to plan much more pilgrim friendly luggage dispatch system as the existing mechanism is forcing pilgrim to wait for over an hour to get back his deposited luggage after completing darshan. “Try to invent and design a system where the pilgrim gets his baggage in five to ten minutes”, he added.
The EO later ordered the IT Wing to think of coming out with an application of digital signatures of VIPs to restrict the middlemen menace and to enhance transparency in the room allotment, seva tickets and donor privileges.
