PAVITRA SAMARPANA IN SRI KALYANA VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE
Srinivasa Mangapuram, 20 October 2014: As a part of the on-going three day celestial fete of annual pavitrotsavams in the Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram near Tirupati, Pavitra Samarpana programme performed with religious fervour on Monday.
Between 9am to 10.30am Snapana TIrumanjanam has been performed to the deities. Later the colourful pavitra malas (thread spun out of colourful silk) were taken for a procession and led into Sannidhi. They were later adorned to Dhruvamurthies, Kautukamurthies, Snapanamurthies, Balimurthies, Dwarapalakas, Visvaksena, Bhasyakarulu, Garudalwar, Homagundams, Balipeetham, Dhwajasthambham and Anjaneya Swamy in fornt of the temple.
Later in the evening Tiruveedhi Utsavam was conducted between 5.00pm to 6.00pm followed by Sattumora at Bhasyakarla gudi.
DyEO Sri EC Sridhar, AEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, Supdt Sri Dinakar Raju, Sri N Krishna Rao, Temple Inspector Sri Achu Ramesh Babu, Temple Staff and others took part in this festival.
