REVIEW MEET ON SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT HELD _ తిరుమలలో ఘన వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణపై టీటీడీ ఈవో సమీక్ష
TIRUMALA, 29 AUGUST 2025: A detailed review meeting on the Solid Waste Management was held by the TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary on Friday.
In this meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the TTD EO said, as an initiative to convert the waste to energy, a bio-gas plant was established on a 50:50 cost-sharing by TTD and IOCL to generate bio-gas and manure from Wet Waste generated from Tirumala.
The EO instructed the concerned officers to come out with an innovative, segregation-free, efficient and viable solid waste management solution for TTD. Renowned scientist Padmasri Sharad Khale who also participated in this meeting, shared his thought on the best and innovative approaches for utilizing biodegradable waste as an input to produce biogas, making it an eco-friendly solution. He also said, he will come out with a feasible plan that suits TTD soon.
Later he had practically shown how to prepare bio-manure in the households itself using the vegetable waste and explained the process to the EO, Additional EO and other officers.
TTD CE Sri Satyanarayana, EE Sri Sudhakar, DyEO Health Sri Somannarayana, Health Officer Dr Madhusudhan, scientists Sri Sandip Asolekar, Sri Bhau Nipurte and others were also present.

తిరుమల, 2025 ఆగస్టు 29: తిరుమలలో ఘన వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణపై టీటీడీ ఈవో శ్రీ జె.శ్యామలరావు, అదనపు ఈవో శ్రీ సి.హెచ్.వెంకయ్య చౌదరితో కలిసి శుక్రవారం తిరుమలలోని అన్నమయ్య భవనంలో సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ తిరుమలలో ఉత్పత్తి అవుతున్న తడి చెత్తను ఉపయోగించి బయో గ్యాస్, ఎరువులు తయారు చేయడం కోసం టీటీడీ–ఐఓసీఎల్ భాగస్వామ్యంతో బయోగ్యాస్ ప్లాంట్ ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు తెలిపారు. విభజన అవసరం లేకుండా ఏవిధంగా వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణను సమర్థవంతంగా అమలు చేయగలమో అలాంటి పద్ధతులను అన్వేషించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్న ప్రముఖ శాస్త్రవేత్త పద్మశ్రీ శరద్ ఖలే, బయోడిగ్రేడబుల్ వ్యర్థాలను ఉపయోగించి బయో గ్యాస్ ఉత్పత్తి చేయడం పర్యావరణ అనుకూల పరిష్కారం అని పేర్కొన్నారు. త్వరలో టీటీడీకి అనువైన ప్రణాళికను అందజేస్తానని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. అలాగే కూరగాయల వ్యర్థాలతో ఇళ్లలోనే సేంద్రీయ ఎరువులు తయారీ విధానాన్ని ప్రదర్శించారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో టీటీడీ సీఈ శ్రీ సత్యనారాయణ, ఈఈ శ్రీ సుధాకర్, డిప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ సోమన్నారాయణ, హెల్త్ ఆఫీసర్ డాక్టర్ మధుసూదన్, శాస్త్రవేత్తలు శ్రీ సందీప్ అసోలేకర్, శ్రీ బౌ నిపుర్తే తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
