TTD IS OPEN TO RESOLVING EMPLOYEES GENUINE DEMANDS
Tirupati, 02 July 2025: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has warned that if contract employees abstain from duties and participate in protests, strict action will be initiated against them for affecting devotees services.
TTD stated that employees should resolve their genuine issues through discussions with the concerned departmental heads. The management is always willing to consider and address their legitimate demands.
TTD acknowledged that contract workers are rendering valuable services, especially in departments like sanitation and healthcare. However, they urged employees not to take any action that would cause inconvenience to the pilgrims. The Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA), which prohibits disruption of key services, is in force in TTD, and employees were reminded to adhere to its provisions.
It was emphasized that abstaining from duties in a globally renowned spiritual institution is inappropriate. If employees violate rules and go on strike, ESMA will be implemented. Employees working under agencies such as SLSMPC and other societies will also face alternative arrangements under the ESMA Act if they go on strike.
TTD reminded that in the past, it had shown a humanitarian approach by reinstating those who abstained from duties. However, this time, if any employee is removed from service due to absenteeism, they will not be reinstated under any circumstances.
TTD clarified that protests, rallies, and issuing strike notices by employees involved in pilgrim services are legally prohibited. Violations will attract action.
Similarly, if any outsider not related to TTD interferes in employee duties, legal action will be initiated against them.
SVIMS Director Dr. R.V. Kumar said that contract workers under Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Corporation at SVIMS have been planning to abstain from duties citing various demands.
He stated that the TTD management is keen to resolve these issues in an amicable manner and urged employees to discuss matters with the concerned departmental heads and warned that participating in strikes could lead to their job loss.
Once an employee is terminated for abstaining from duties, they will not be reinstated under any circumstances, he asserted.

తిరుపతి, 2025 జూలై 02: శ్రీవారి భక్తులకు సేవలు అందించే కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఉద్యోగులు విధులను బహిష్కరించి నిరసనలకు దిగితే చర్యలు తప్పవని టిటిడి పేర్కొంది. కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఉద్యోగులు తమ న్యాయమైన కోరికలను సదరు శాఖాధిపతులతో చర్చించి పరిష్కరించుకోవాలని కోరింది. న్యాయమైన కోర్కెలను తీర్చడానికి యాజమాన్యం సదా సంసిద్ధంగా ఉందని పేర్కొంది. పారిశుధ్ద్యం, ఆరోగ్యం తదితర శాఖలలో సంబంధిత కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఉద్యోగులు విశేషంగా సేవలు అందిస్తున్నారని, భక్తులకు ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేసే చర్యలు తీసుకోవద్దని కోరింది. భక్తుల సేవలకు ఉద్యోగులు ఆటంకం కల్గించే చర్యలను నిషేధించే ముఖ్యమైన సేవల నిర్వహణ చట్టం ( ఎస్మా) టిటిడిలో అమలులో ఉందని, సదరు నిబంధనలను ఉద్యోగులు గుర్తు చేసుకోవాలని టిటిడి పేర్కొంది.
ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా గుర్తింపు ఉన్న ఆధ్యాత్మిక సంస్థలో విధులను బహిష్కరించడం సరికాదని సూచించింది. నిబంధనలను ఉల్లంఘించి సమ్మెబాట పడితే ఎస్మా చట్టాన్ని అమలు చేస్తామన్నారు. ఎస్.ఎల్.ఎస్.ఎం.పీ.సీ సంస్థతోపాటు కాంట్రాక్ట్, పలు సొసైటీలలో ఉద్యోగులు పనిచేస్తున్నారని, సదరు ఉద్యోగులు విధులను బహిష్కరిస్తే ఎస్మా చట్టం ప్రకారం ప్రత్యామ్నాయ చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని పేర్కొంది.
గతంలో టిటిడిలో విధులను బహిష్కరణ చేసినా మానవతా దృక్పథంతో తిరిగి విధుల్లోకి తీసుకోవడం జరిగింది. ఈసారి విధుల నుండి తొలగించాక విధులను బహిష్కరించిన వారిని ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో తిరిగి చేర్చుకోరని టిటిడి తెలిపింది.
టిటిడిలో భక్తులకు సేవలు అందించే ఉద్యోగులు ధర్నాలు చేయడం, నిరసన నోటీసులు ఇవ్వడం, ఊరేగింపులు చేయడం చట్టప్రకారం నిషేధం. నిబంధనలను ఉల్లంఘించిన వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాం. అదేవిధంగా, ఉద్యోగుల విధులకు టిటిడితో సంబంధం లేని బయట వ్యక్తులు ఆటంకం కల్గిస్తే చట్టపరమైన క్రిమినల్ చర్యలకు వెనుకాడమని హెచ్చరించింది.

స్విమ్స్ లో ఎస్మా చట్టం అమలులో ఉన్నందున సమ్మె నోటిస్ ఇవ్వడం చట్టవిరుద్ధమన్నారు. వైద్య సేవలకు ఆటంకం కల్గిస్తే విధుల నుండి తొలగించే నిబంధన ఉందని, తమ సమస్యలను సామరస్యంగా పరిష్కరించుకోవాలని ఆయన కోరారు. విధులను బహిష్కరించి సమ్మెకు దిగితే ఉద్యోగం కోల్పోయే ప్రమాదం ఉందన్నారు. స్విమ్స్ తో సంబంధం లేని బయట వ్యక్తుల ప్రమేయంతో నిరసనలకు దిగితే చట్టప్రకారం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామన్నారు. విధులను బహిష్కరించినందుకుగాను, ఒకసారి ఉద్యోగం తొలగించాక, సదరు ఉద్యోగులను తిరిగి విధుల్లోకి తీసుకోరనే విషయాన్ని గమనించాలని స్విమ్స్ డైరెక్టర్ ఉద్యోగులను కోరారు.
