TTD to spend Rs.7000 on each couple
Hyderabad, May 20: Chief Minister Sri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy today said the TTD has been rendering yeomen service to the society not only in the education and health sector but also in addressing the social needs of the poor like mass weddings etc.
Participating in the sixth phase of the Kalyanamastu event at the Sprawling Lalita Kala Toranam open-air auditorium this morning the Chief Minister said the free mass wedding program addressed the social needs of the society to organize debt free weddings.
The sixth phase of Kalyanotsavam was performed at the Karkataka lagnam and at the auspicious muhurtam of 09.52 to 10.04 hours today.
Earlier he blessed 170 couples who were wedded to the rendering of vedic chants by a team of priests who had specially come from Tirupati for the occasion. He lauded the officials of the TTD and the Hyderabad District administration for their efforts in organizing the event without any hiccups and satisfying the couple and their guests.
The Executive Officer of the TTD Sri I Y R Krishna Rao said the TTD would spent approximately Rs.7000 on each of the couple in providing them a pair of wedding apparel, mangala sutram, wedding silver toe rings besides wedding feast for sixty guests for each couple.
He said the newly wedded couple would be provided darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala and also transport and accommodation at fifty percent concession to Tirumala. He said in all 12,000 weddings were conducted in this phase all over the state bringing the total of Kalyanamastu to 46,000 weddings since inception.
The certificate of the wedding was presented to each of the couple by the EO and Sri. Venkat Reddy, president of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad. They have also presented the certificate of the marriage registrar through the office of the Hyderabad Collector on the spot.
The TTD has specially brought the Utsava idols from the Srivari Temple of Tirumala for the event along with priests to conduct the Kalyanamastu besides a team of Nadaswaram and Annamacharya singers from Tirupati.

రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని హైదరాబాదులోని లలితకళాతోరణ ప్రాంగణంలో జరిగిన ఉచిత సామూహిక వివాహాలకు ముఖ్య అతిధిగా విచ్చేసిన రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమరత్రి శ్రీ నల్లారి కిరణ్‌కుమార్‌రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ తితిదే హైందవమత ప్రచారములో భాగంగా అధ్యాత్మిక, ధార్మిక అంశాలను మాత్రమే కాకుండా సామాజిక కోణంలో కూడా అనేక ప్రజాహిత కార్యక్రమాలు చేపడుతున్నదన్నారు. అందులో భాగంగానే గత 5 సంవత్సరముల నుండి కల్యాణమస్తు ఉచిత సామూహిక వివాహ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తూ వస్తున్నదని అన్నారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు దాదాపు 34 వేలకు పైగా యువతీ యువకులు స్వామివారి అనుగ్రహముతో దంపతులైనారన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా తితిదే ఇఓ శ్రీ ఐ.వై.ఆర్‌.కృష్ణారావు మాట్లాడుతూ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ సౌజన్యంతో గత 5 సంవత్సరములుగా తితిదే ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఎంతో ఘనంగా నిర్వహిస్తూ వస్తున్నదన్నారు. తితిదే ఒక్కో జంటపై దాదాపు 7 వేల రూపాయలు వ్యయం చేస్తున్నదన్నారు. హిందూసమాజంలోని అధికశాతం పేద,మధ్యతరగతి కుటుంబాలను దృష్ఠిలో వుంచుకొని తితిదే ఈ ఉన్నతకార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టినదని అన్నారు.
కాగా హైదరాబాదులో జరిగిన కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమంలో దాదాపు 170 మంది జంటలు ఒక్కటైయ్యారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు శ్రీమతి సబితా ఇంద్రారెడ్డి, శ్రీ ముఖేష్‌గౌడ్‌, సి.ఎం. ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి మరియు తితిదే సాధికార మండలి ఛైౖర్మెన్‌ శ్రీ జె.సత్యనారాయణ, ప్రధానకార్యదర్శి (దేవాదాయశాఖ) శ్రీ కె.వి. రమణాచారి తదితర ప్రముఖులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఇక చిత్తూరు జిల్లాలో ఆరవ విడత కల్యాణమస్తులో 277 జంటలు స్వామివారి అనుగ్రహముతో ఒక్కటయ్యాయి. ఇందులో భాగంగా తిరుపతి నగరపాలక సంస్థలోని నెహ్రూ లలితకళా ప్రాంగణంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కల్యాణమస్తులో 31 జంటలు ఒక్కటయ్యాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిధిగా తితిదే జె.ఇ.ఓ.(తిరుమల) శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు విచ్చేసి నూతన దంపతులను అశీర్వదించారు. వీరితో పాటు తిరుపతి నగరపాలక సంస్థ అడిషినల్‌ కమీషనర్‌ శ్రీ సాయికుమార్‌, కల్యాణమస్తు ప్రత్యేక అధికారి మరియు తితిదే ట్రాన్స్‌ఫోర్టు జి.యమ్‌. శ్రీ శేషారెడ్డి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

ముహుర్తంః- శ్రవణ నక్షత్ర యుక్త తులా లగ్నం ఉదయం 11.10 గం||ల నుండి 11.20 గం||ల వరకు
మూడవ విడతః- 9.3.2008 న 6373 మందికి వివాహాలు
ముహుర్తంః- ఉత్తరాభాద్ర నక్షత్రంతో కూడిన మేషలగ్నం ఉ||9.20 నుండి 9.35 వరకు.
నాలుగవ విడతః- 2-11-2008 న 7090 మందికి వివాహాలు
