TIRUPATI, 11 FEBRUARY 2026: TTD JEO for Health & Education Dr. A. Sharath said that special focus has been given towards the cultivation of medicinal plants at Sri Srinivasa Ayurveda Pharmacy under the auspices of TTD.
He inspected Sri Srinivasa Ayurveda Pharmacy near Srinivasa Mangapuram on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the JEO said that appropriate steps have been taken to cultivate medicinal plants required for the manufacture of medicines required by SV Ayurveda Hospital.
He directed to prepare a comprehensive report on the maintenance of the state-of-the-art machinery already available, immediate repairs to the machinery that has stalled due to technical problems, daily use, appointment of expert staff required to maintain the state-of-the-art machinery, other staff and other issues.
He said that adequate storage facilities should be set up in the pharmacy so that raw materials can be stored for six months to a year.
The JEO said that information boards should be set up to ensure that the departments of drug preparation, packing, manufacturing process etc. are organized. He directed SV Ayurveda College Principal Dr. Renu Dikshit to give priority to cleanliness in drug preparation rooms and to implement a dress code for the staff.

ఈ సందర్భంగా జేఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ, ఎస్వీ ఆయుర్వేద వైద్యశాలకు అవసరమైన మందుల తయారీకి కావాల్సిన ఔషధ మొక్కల పెంపకంపై తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఇప్పటికే అందుబాటులో ఉన్న అత్యాధునిక యంత్రాల నిర్వహణ, సాంకేతిక సమస్యలతో నిలిచిపోయిన యంత్రాలకు తక్షణమే మరమ్మతులు, రోజువారీ వినియోగం, అత్యాధునిక యంత్రాల నిర్వహణకు అవసరమైన నిపుణలైన సిబ్బంది నియామకం, ఇతర సిబ్బంది తదితర అంశాలపై సమగ్ర నివేదిక తయారు చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ఫార్మసీలో ముడి సరుకులను ఆరు నెలల నుంచి ఏడాది వరకు నిల్వ ఉంచే విధంగా తగిన స్టోరేజ్ సౌకర్యాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని తెలిపారు. మందుల తయారీ, ప్యాకింగ్, తయారీ ప్రక్రియ తదితర విభాగాలు క్రమబద్ధంగా ఉండేలా సూచిక బోర్డులు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని చెప్పారు. మందుల తయారీ గదుల్లో పరిశుభ్రతకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వాలని, సిబ్బందికి డ్రెస్ కోడ్ అమలు చేయాలని ఎస్వీ ఆయుర్వేద కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డా. రేణు దీక్షిణ్ను ఆదేశించారు.
