ARTISTIC SPLENDOR DURING GAJA VAHANAM PROCESSION _ గజ వాహన సేవలో కళా వైభవం

Tirumala, 29 September 2025: The royal look of the magnificent Gaja Vahana Seva enhanced with the rich dance performances by various artists held as a part of the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams on Monday evening.

A total of 21 art troupes from a total of 10 states comprising 463 artists mesmerized the devotees with their skillful performances.

Main attractions:

•  Artists from Karnataka performed Gajendra Vaibhavam and Banjara dance.

 * The groups from Andhra Pradesh and Tirupati performed traditional dances like Mayura Nrityam, Kolatam and Gajendra Moksham.

•  The famous Perini dance performed by a group from Telangana State impressed the large crowd.

•  The Odissi dance performance by artists from Orissa showcased the splendor of classical art.

•  The artists from Tamil Nadu specially performed Kamsali Ruchita, Tamil Nadu folk dance and Oilattam (Pondicherry).

•  The drum performances performed by groups from Kerala, Rajahmundry and Maharashtra, and the Kerala drum performances filled the festival with new enthusiasm.

•  The art forms of the North-Eastern states like Galo dance from Arunachal Pradesh and Maroni dance from Sikkim stood as a special attraction.

 * Along with the Keelugurralu performance, the Ashtalakshmi Vaibhavam Bharatanatyam created a devotional ecstasy.

The cultural splendor displayed by these art groups from all over the country in the procession of Sri Malayappa Swamy during the Gaja Vahanam Seva reinforced the spiritual beauty and cultural unity during these Brahmotsavams.
