Tirumala 17 April 2022: in view of the reduction in Covid-19 threat and with the advent of summer holidays, devotees rush to Tirumala back to normalcy after a gap of two years.
Under the instructions of TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and in the supervision of Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, all the Heads in Tirumala are making and ensuring hassle-free arrangements for the visiting pilgrims in their respective departments.
TTD which had slashed staff in several departments during the Covid-19 season has once again revamped staff to meet the demands of ever-increasing footfalls.
First step of TTD to meet the devotees rush is cancellation of VIP break and providing Darshan slot to a large number of common devotees Darshan hours.
Among others, TTD has ushered in various steps to ensure hassle-free and comfortable Srivari Darshan to common devotees. They include cleaning of Vaikunta queue complex compartments immediately after it is emptied, extended Anna Prasadam distribution in MTVAC and other food counters at CRO, Rambhageecha, queue lines etc.
Ensuring more clean environment in devotee centric locations. Additional deployment of 100 Sulabh staff for Vigilance wing for luggage counters with the support of Srivari Sevakulu.
1200 barbers are currently working 24×7 basis at main and mini Kalyan kattas. At the reception wing, rooms are cleaned quickly and allotted to devotees as soon as they are vacated.
Nearly 1700 Srivari Sevakulu are deployed in various wings of TTD at Tirumala and another 300 of them are roped in for service in TTD local temples at Tirupati besides 200 parakamani sevakulu.
