PRESIDENT OFFERS PRAYERS IN TIRUMALA TEMPLE _ శ్రీవారిని దర్శించుకున్న భారత రాష్ట్రపతి

The Honourable President of India HE Smt Droupadi Murmu,  offered prayers in the hill shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala temple on Friday along with her family members and entourage.

Following the temple tradition, she first offered prayers in Sri Varaha Swamy temple and then reached Maha Dwaram of Tirumala temple where she was received by the TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri AK Singhal, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and accorded the traditional ”Isthikaphal” welcome by the temple priests.

The Endowments Minister of AP Sri Anam Ramnarayan Reddy also accompanied the President for Srivari Darshan.

After offering prayers to the presiding deity of Sri Venkateswara Swamy inside the sanctum sanctorum, she was presented Sesha Vastram followed by Vedasirvachanam which was rendered at the  Ranganayakula Mandapam. 

Later, the first citizen of the nation was presented with the Theertha Prasadams, portrait of Srivaru, 2026 Diaries and Calendars published by TTD by the Chairman and EO.

TTD Trust board members Smt Panabaka Lakshmi, Smt Janaki Devi Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, CVSO Sri Muralikrishna were also present.

Among others the District Collector Dr Venkateswar, SP Sri Subbarayudu and others were present.
