Tirupati, 19 February 2026: The TTD JEO for Health & Education, Dr. A. Sharath has advised the faculty to take steps to ensure that the students studying at Sri Padmavati Women’s Degree and PG College in Tirupati achieve excellent results in the examinations.
He inspected the college and the hostel on Thursday and made several suggestions.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that as per the instructions of the Honorable Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, special focus has been given to solving problems and improving infrastructure in TTD educational institutions.
He said that currently 3,106 students are studying in the College, out of which 2,350 are hostelers.
The main goal is to provide quality education to further enhance the prestige of the college, and the teachers should work towards that.
He inspected accommodation, food, and infrastructure snd suggested that if there are any problems, they should be brought to his attention directly.
Later, he had lunch with the students in the hostel and made several suggestions.
He asked the engineering officials to clean and make the ancient well from the time of Sri Krishna Deva Raya in the college premises attractive, and to install electric lights and music that would enhance the sense of devotion.
He also suggested that boards should be set up in the History and Culture Department room to systematically display the pictures and brief details of the country’s freedom fighters from 1857 to 1947 to inform the new generation about their efforts.
He said that information boards should be set up to inform about the glory of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru as well as important aspects related to the country and the state.

ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, గౌరవ ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు సూచనల మేరకు టిటిడి విద్యాసంస్థలలో సమస్యల పరిష్కారం, మౌలిక సదుపాయాల మెరుగుదలపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టామని తెలిపారు. టిటిడి పాలక మండలి సహకారంతో అభివృద్ధి పనులను వేగవంతం చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
శ్రీ పద్మావతి మహిళా డిగ్రీ కళాశాలలో ప్రస్తుతం 3,106 మంది విద్యార్థినులు విద్యనభ్యసిస్తుండగా, వారిలో 2,350 మంది హాస్టల్ వసతి పొందుతున్నారని తెలిపారు. కళాశాల ప్రతిష్టను మరింత పెంపొందించేలా నాణ్యమైన విద్య అందించడమే ప్రధాన లక్ష్యమని, అందుకు అధ్యాపకులు కృషి చేయాలని సూచించారు.
విద్యార్థినులలో మెరుగైన ప్రతిభ కలిగినవారు, సగటు స్థాయి, తక్కువ స్థాయి, నెమ్మదిగా నేర్చుకునే విద్యార్థినులను గుర్తించి, సమతుల్య గ్రూపులుగా విభజించి బోధన నిర్వహించాలని సూచించారు. ప్రత్యేక పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించి ఫలితాలను విశ్లేషిస్తూ ముందుకు సాగితే వందశాతం ఫలితాలు సాధ్యమవుతాయని చెప్పారు. పరీక్షల ఫలితాలు తగ్గితే సంబంధిత అధ్యాపకులు బాధ్యత వహించాలన్నారు.
బోధన ప్రమాణాలు, వసతి, భోజనం, మౌలిక సదుపాయాలపై విద్యార్థినుల అభిప్రాయాలను స్వయంగా తెలుసుకున్నారు. ఏవైనా సమస్యలు ఉంటే తమ దృష్టికి నేరుగా తీసుకురావాలని సూచించారు. అనంతరం వారితో కలిసి హాస్టల్లో భోజనం చేసి పలు సూచనలు చేశారు.
కళాశాల ప్రాంగణంలోని శ్రీకృష్ణదేవారాయుల కాలానికి చెందిన పురాతన బావిని పరిశుభ్రం చేసి, ఆకర్షణీయంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలని, విద్యుత్ కాంతులు మరియు భక్తి భావాన్ని పెంపొందించే మ్యూజిక్ వాతావరణం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఇంజనీరింగ్ అధికారులను కోరారు. అలాగే 1857 నుండి 1947 వరకు దేశ స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధుల కృషిని నవతరానికి తెలియజేసేలా వారి చిత్రాలు, సంక్షిప్త వివరాలను క్రమపద్ధతిలో తెలిసేలా చరిత్ర మరియు సాంస్కృతిక విభాగం గదిలో బోర్డులను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు. శ్రీవారు, శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి వైభవంతో పాటు దేశం, రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన ముఖ్య అంశాలను తెలియజేసే సమాచార బోర్డులను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని తెలిపారు.
