SRAVANA UPAKARMA HELD IN TEMPLE _ శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో వైభవంగా శ్రావణ ఉపకర్మ
Tirumala, 09 August 2025: Sravana Upakarma (change of new Yagnopaveetam-the sacred thread)was observed in Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple on Saturday following the auspicious Sravana Pournami.
As part of this, the processional deity of Sri Krishna Swamy was brought in a celestial procession to the temple of Sri Bhuvarahaswamy and Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed by a team of Archakas.
After that, a new Yagnopaveetam was presented to the deity and Asthanam in the Temple was held.
Later Sri Krishna Swamy returned to the Srivari temple in a procession.
Parupattedhar Sri Himanthagiri, priests and other staffs participated in this program.

శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో వైభవంగా శ్రావణ ఉపకర్మ
తిరుమల, 2025 ఆగస్టు 09: తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో శనివారం శ్రావణ పౌర్ణమి సందర్భంగా శ్రావణ ఉపకర్మ- నూతన యజ్ఞోపవీత ధారణ కార్యక్రమం వైభవంగా జరిగింది.
ఇందులో భాగంగా ఉదయం 6 గంటలకు శ్రీ కృష్ణస్వామివారిని శ్రీ భూవరహస్వామివారి ఆలయానికి ఊరేగింపుగా తీసుకువచ్చి స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహించారు. ఇందులో పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, కొబ్బరి నీళ్లు, పసుపు, చందనంలతో అర్చకులు అభిషేకించారు.
అనంతరం స్వామివారికి నూతన యజ్ఞోపవీతాన్ని సమర్పించి, ఆస్థానం నిర్వహించారు. అటు తరువాత శ్రీకృష్ణస్వామివారు ఊరేగింపుగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయానికి తిరిగి చేరుకున్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పారుపత్తేదార్ శ్రీ హిమంతగిరి, అర్చకులు, ఇతర ఆలయ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
