DEVOTIONAL FERVOR AT NARAYANAVANAM
Tirupati, April 05, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Agastheeswara Swamy, along with Goddess Maragadavalli, associated with Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Narayanavanam Mandal headquarters, will be celebrated grandly with devotion from April 21 to 30.
• On April 20, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Ganapati Puja and Ankurarpanam (preliminary ritual) will be performed to commence the festivities.
• On April 21, between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting) will take place in Vrishabha Lagnam. That evening at 7:30 PM, the Lord will bless devotees on Chandraprabha Vahanam.
• Daily during the Brahmotsavams, Snapana Tirumanjanam (holy bath) will be performed from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and Vahana Sevas will be held at 7:30 PM.

• April 22 – Simha Vahanam (Lion)
• April 23 – Hamsa Vahanam (Swan)
• April 24 – Sesha Vahanam (Serpent)
• April 25 – Nandi Vahanam (Bull)
• April 26 – Gaja Vahanam (Elephant)
On April 27 at 7:30 PM, the grand Rathotsavam (chariot festival) will be conducted. On April 28 at 7:00 PM, Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding) will be performed, followed by Ashwa Vahanam (Horse). Devotees participating in the Kalyanotsavam by paying ₹500 will receive one Uttareeyam (shawl), one Ravike (blouse piece), one Laddu, one Appam, and Annaprasadam (holy food).
On April 29 at 9:00 AM, Sri Nataraja Swamy Veedhi Utsavam (procession) will be held. In the evening, the Lord will appear on Ravana Vahanam. On April 30, the sacred Trisula Snanam (trident bath) will be performed at Kailasakona, and at 7:00 PM, Dwajavarohanam (flag lowering) will mark the conclusion of the Brahmotsavams.
Spiritual Programs
During the festival, under the auspices of TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project, devotional music, Kolata (folk dance), and spiritual programs will delight devotees daily.
Temple Legend
According to legend, the temple was built by the forefathers of Sri Akasa Maharaja, father of Goddess Padmavati Devi, who ruled the Narayanavanam region. Lord Agastheeswara Swamy is believed to have manifested here as a Swayambhu (self-manifested deity). Later, Sage Agastya consecrated and worshipped Him according to Vedic traditions, hence the name “Agastheeswara Swamy.”

నారాయణవనంలో భక్తి పరవశం ఏప్రిల్ 21–30 వరకు శ్రీ అగస్తీశ్వరస్వామి బ్రహ్మోత్సవ మహోత్సవాలుతిరుపతి, 2026 ఏప్రిల్ 05: నారాయణవనం మండల కేంద్రంలోని శ్రీ కల్యాణ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి ఆలయానికి అనుబంధంగా ఉన్న శ్రీ మరగదవల్లి సమేత శ్రీ అగస్తీశ్వరస్వామివారి వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ఏప్రిల్ 21 నుండి 30వ తేదీ వరకు భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో ఘనంగా నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
ఈ ఉత్సవాలకు శ్రీకారం చుడుతూ ఏప్రిల్ 20వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 6 నుండి రాత్రి 8.30 గంటల వరకు గణపతి పూజ, అంకురార్పణం నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
ఏప్రిల్ 21వ తేదీ ఉదయం 7.30 నుండి 9 గంటల మధ్య వృషభ లగ్నంలో ధ్వజారోహణం జరుగుతుంది. అదే రోజు రాత్రి 7.30 గంటలకు చంద్రప్రభ వాహనంపై స్వామివారు భక్తులకు దర్శనమిస్తారు. బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల సందర్భంగా ప్రతిరోజు ఉదయం 10 నుండి 11 గంటల మధ్య స్నపన తిరుమంజనం, రాత్రి 7.30 గంటలకు వాహనసేవలు వైభవంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారు.

ఏప్రిల్ 27న రాత్రి 07.30 గం.లకు రథోత్సవం కన్నులపండువగా నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఏప్రిల్ 28న రాత్రి 7 గంటలకు కల్యాణోత్సవం, అనంతరం అశ్వవాహన సేవ జరుగుతుంది. రూ.500/- చెల్లించి కల్యాణోత్సవంలో పాల్గొనే గృహస్తులకు ఒక ఉత్తరీయం, ఒక రవికె, ఒక లడ్డూ, ఒక అప్పం, అన్నప్రసాదాలు అందజేయబడతాయి.
ఏప్రిల్ 29న ఉదయం 9 గంటలకు శ్రీ నటరాజస్వామివారి వీధి ఉత్సవం జరుగుతుంది. సాయంత్రం రావణాసుర వాహనంపై స్వామివారు దర్శనమిస్తారు. ఏప్రిల్ 30న కైలాసకోనలో త్రిశూలస్నానం ఘనంగా నిర్వహించి, రాత్రి 7 గంటలకు ధ్వజావరోహణంతో బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ముగుస్తాయి.
ఆధ్యాత్మిక కార్యక్రమాలు
ఈ సందర్భంగా టీటీడీ హిందూ ధర్మప్రచార పరిషత్, అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రతిరోజు కోలాటం, భక్తిసంగీతం, ఆధ్యాత్మిక కార్యక్రమాలు భక్తులను ఆహ్లాదపరచనున్నాయి.
స్థల పురాణం
నారాయణవనం ప్రాంతాన్ని పరిపాలించిన శ్రీ పద్మావతీదేవి తండ్రి శ్రీ ఆకాశ మహారాజు పితామహులు ఈ ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించినట్లు పురాణాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. ఈ క్షేత్రంలో శ్రీ అగస్తీశ్వరస్వామివారు స్వయంభువుగా వెలిశారు. అనంతరం శ్రీ అగస్త్య మహర్షులు వేద ఆగమశాస్త్ర ప్రకారం ప్రతిష్ఠించి పూజించినందువల్ల స్వామివారికి “అగస్తీశ్వరస్వామి” అనే పేరు వచ్చింది.
