Tirupati, 18 December 2024: Sri Periya Koil Kelviyappan Sri Shathagopa Ramanuja Pedda Jeeyar Swamy was honoured at the local temples of TTD on Wednesday.
The temples included Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor, Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple and Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati.
TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, FA&CAO Sri Balaji temple priests gave a traditional welcome to Swamiji with temple honours, darshan and presented Theertha Prasadams.
During the time of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya who propounded Vishistadvaita Siddhanta, Pedda Jeeyar Mutt was established in Tirumala.
Kainkaryams and rituals introduced by Sri Ramanujacharya according to Vaikhanasa Agama are still going on in Srivari temple and other affiliated temples.
Coming in the lineage of Sri Ramanujacharya, Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji supervises the functions, services and festivals in the Tirumala Srivari Temple and its other TTD temples.
Deputy EOs of the respective local temples Sri Govindarajan, Smt. Shanti, Smt. Nagaratnam and other officials participated in these programs.

తిరుపతి, 2024 డిసెంబరు 18: శ్రీ పెరియ కోయిల్ కేల్వియప్పన్ శ్రీ శఠగోప రామానుజ పెద్దజీయర్స్వామివారికి బుధవారం టీటీడీ స్థానిక ఆలయాల్లో పెద్దమర్యాదలు జరిగాయి.
తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో స్వామీజీకి టీటీడీ జెఈవో శ్రీ వీరబ్రహ్మం, ఎఫ్ఏ&సీఏఓ శ్రీ బాలాజీ ఆలయ అర్చకులు ఆలయ మర్యాదలతో సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా స్వాగతం పలికి స్వామివారి దర్శనం చేయించి తీర్థ ప్రసాదాలు అందజేశారు.
అదేవిధంగా శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి ఆలయం, శ్రీ కోదండరామస్వామివారి ఆలయాలకు విచ్చేసిన స్వామీజీ సాంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం దర్శించుకున్నారు.
విశిష్టాద్వైత సిద్ధాంతాన్ని ప్రతిపాదించిన భగవద్ రామానుజాచార్యుల కాలంలో తిరుమలలో పెద్దజీయర్ మఠం ఏర్పాటైంది. శ్రీవారి ఆలయం, ఇతర అనుబంధ ఆలయాలలో వైఖానస ఆగమం ప్రకారం శ్రీ రామానుజాచార్యులు ప్రవేశపెట్టిన కైంకర్యాలు, క్రతువులు ఇప్పటికీ కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.
శ్రీ రామానుజాచార్యుల పరంపరలో వస్తున్న జీయర్ స్వాములు తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంతో పాటు అనుబంధ ఆలయాలలో కైంకర్యాలు, సేవలు, ఉత్సవాలను పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నారు.
