TTD MULLS RS. 4.25 CRORE PROJECT APPROVED FOR DEVELOPMENT ACROSS 3.90 ACRES
Tirumala, 21 December 2025: Acting on the directives of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, TTD has embarked on an ambitious initiative to conserve rare and endangered medicinal plant species native to the Seshachalam forests.
The proposed Divine Herbal Garden is envisioned as a living repository of India’s traditional medicinal heritage, blending conservation with public education.
Where Spirituality, Science and Sustainability Converge
The Divine Herbal Garden will be developed as a thoughtfully curated landscape comprising thirteen distinct thematic zones, each reflecting the inter-relationship between human health, spiritual traditions and ecological balance. Beyond offering a serene spiritual ambience to devotees, the garden will serve as a learning space for students, researchers and nature enthusiasts.
Strategic Location and Phased Development Plan*
Spread over 3.90 acres between the lower and upper ghat roads near the GNC Toll Gate in Tirumala, the project will be executed with an estimated budget of Rs.4.25 crore.
Works are slated to commence soon, with supporting infrastructure such as visitor pathways, parking and basic amenities planned to enhance accessibility.
The Herbal Garden is expected to be fully operational and open to the public by the end of next year.

రూ.4.25 కోట్లతో 3.90 ఎకరాల్లో ఏర్పాటుకు టీటీడీ ఆమోదం
తిరుమల, 2025 డిసెంబర్ 21: కలియుగ ప్రత్యక్ష దైవం శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి కొలువైన తిరుమల కొండలకు మరో మణిహారం చేరనుంది. భారతీయ సాంప్రదాయ వైద్యానికి ప్రాణం పోసే ఔషధ మొక్కల సంరక్షణ లక్ష్యంగా తిరుమలలో టీటీడీ రూ.4.25 కోట్లతో దివ్య ఔషధ వనాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది.

రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు గౌ.శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఆదేశాల మేరకు అరుదైన, అంతరించిపోతున్న ఔషధ మొక్కలకు నిలయంగా ఉన్న శేషాచలం అడవులకు జీవనాడిగా దివ్య ఔషధ వనాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు టీటీడీ సంకల్పించింది. ఔషధ మొక్కలను సంరక్షిస్తూ, ప్రజలకు పరిచయం చేయడం ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం. తద్వారా పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ, జీవ వైవిధ్య సంరక్షణ లక్ష్యాలకు దివ్య ఔషధ వనం తోడ్పడనుంది. దక్షిణ భారతదేశంలోనే ఈ తరహాలో రూపొందనున్న ఈ ఔషధ వనం భక్తులు, పరిశోధకులు, విద్యార్థులు, ప్రకృతి ప్రేమికులకు ఒక ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలవనుంది.
భక్తి–విజ్ఞానం–ప్రకృతి సమ్మేళనం
టీటీడీ ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్న దివ్య ఔషధ వనంలో దేహ చికిత్స వనం, సుగంధ వనం, పవిత్ర వనం, ప్రసాద వనం, పూజా ద్రవ్య వనం, జీవరాశి వనం, కల్పవృక్ష ధామం, ఔషధ కుండ్, ములికా వనం, ఋతు వనం, విశిష్ట వృక్ష వనం, ఔషధ మొక్కలు వంటి 13 రకాల ప్రత్యేక థీమ్ ఆధారిత విభాగాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. ఇవి భక్తులకు ఆధ్యాత్మిక అనుభూతిని కలిగించడమే కాకుండా, ఔషధ విజ్ఞానం, ప్రకృతిపై అవగాహనను పెంపొందించనున్నాయి.
రూ.4.25 కోట్లతో 3.90 ఎకరాల్లో ఏర్పాటు
తిరుమలలోని జీఎన్సీ టోల్ గేట్ కు సమీపంలో దిగువ, ఎగువ ఘాట్ రోడ్లకు మధ్యలో ఉన్న 3.90 ఎకరాల స్థలంలో ఈ దివ్య ఔషధ వనం అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు అధికారులు ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేశారు. వచ్చే నెలలో పనులు ప్రారంభించి మొక్కలను పెంచి, భక్తుల సందర్శనకు వీలుగా పార్కింగ్, మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసి వచ్చే ఏడాది చివరి నాటికి పూర్తిస్థాయిలో ఔషధ వనాన్ని అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురానున్నారు. రూ.4.25 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో రూపొందించిన ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు టీటీడీ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది.
