DIRECTOR CELEBRATES FESTIVAL WITH LITTLE ONES
Tirupati, 13 Nov. 20 : Braving the showers, children who are undergoing treatment for various bone related ailments celebrated Deepavali festival with utmost happiness in Balaji Institute of Research, Rehabilitation and Surgery for Disabled (BIRRD) hospital on Friday evening.
BIRRD Director Dr Madanmohan Reddy who participated in the fest told media persons that to give home turf a feel, the hospital has been celebrating the festival of lights for the last 18 years. Today it’s been so special for me as I have celebrated the festival with these special children. This not only makes sure that they are not away from their home places but also boosts their spirit and health, he observed.
The entire hospital staff took part in the festival by bursting crackers along with the inpatient children.

బర్డ్ ఆసుపత్రిలో దీపావళి సంబరాలు
తిరుపతి, 2020 న‌వంబరు 13: తిరుపతిలోని టిటిడికి చెందిన బర్డ్ ఆసుపత్రిలో శుక్ర‌వారం దీపావళి సంబరాలు జరిగాయి. ఇంటికి దూరంగా ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్సపొందుతున్న వికలాంగ చిన్నారులతో కలిసి బర్డ్ డైరెక్టర్ డాక్టర్ మదన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి టపాసులు కాల్చి దీపావళి జరుపుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా బర్డ్ డైరెక్టర్ మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ ఆసుపత్రిలో శస్త్రచికిత్సలు చేసుకున్న వారు ఇంటికి దూరంగా ఉన్నామన్న బెంగను దూరం చేసేందుకు 18 ఏళ్లుగా దీపావళి సంబరాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్టు తెలిపారు. ఆసుపత్రి డాక్టర్లు, వైద్య సిబ్బంది కలిసి రోగులతో మమేకమై టపాకాయలు పేల్చడం వల్ల రోగుల్లో మనోధైర్యం పెరుగుతుందన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా భ‌క్తులంద‌రికి దీపావళి శుభాకాంక్ష‌లు తెలిపారు. అంతకుముందు వికలాంగ చిన్నారులకు బాణసంచా పంపిణీ చేశారు.
బర్డ్ ఆసుపత్రి డాక్టర్లు, వైద్యసిబ్బంది, వికలాంగ చిన్నారులు, వారి తల్లిదండ్రులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
