RAJAMUNDRY, MAY 4: The public representatives, top brass officials from Rajamundry and TTD Joint Executive Officer of Tirumala Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju called upon the Srivari Sevakulu to render impeccable services to multitude of visiting pilgrims during Godavari Pushkaralu and make the religious event a grand success.

Addressing the Srivari Sevakulu hailing from Rajamundry, East and West Godavari districts in TTD Kalyana Mandapam located in Rajamundry over the service to be rendered by them during the upcoming Pushkaralu which are slated to take place from July 14 to July 25, the JEO said, the Srivari Sevakulu have already emerged as a huge voluntary force rendering impeccable services in Tirumala to the pilgrims who are thronging from various parts of the country as well abroad.

He said started with just 195 volunteers today so far over six lakh sevakulu have rendered valuable services in the past 15 years. He said among these volunteers a major chunk has been contributed by the sevakulu hailing from the three districts of Rajamundry, East and West Godavaris. He said, the volunteers should make use of this opportunity to serve the scores of pilgrims during this mega religious event.

Later local MLA Sri Akula Satyanarayana, Mayor Smt P Rajini Sesha Sai, Special Officer for Pushkaralu Sri Dhananjaya Reddy, Municipal Commissioner Sri Murali, Sub Collector Sri Vijaykumar Raju while appreciating the services of Srivari sevakulu given a clarion call to them to discharge services to the pilgrims during pushkarams with discipline, dedication and devotion and make the mega religious event a big success.

TTD Senior Officers Sri Venugopal, Sri Sudhakar Rao, Sri Nageswara Rao, Sri Subramanyam, Dr Sarmistha, Div EE Sri Ravishankar Reddy, Asst PRO and OSD Srivari Seva Ms P Neelima, over 300 volunteers hailing from the three districts of Rajamundry, East and West Godavaris were also present.
