TIRUMALA, 01 SEPTEMBER 2021: The 16-day Sodasadina Balakanda Parayanam will commence at Vasanta Mandapam in Tirumala from September 3 onwards with Ankurarpanam on September 2.

 

One of the important episodes from the epic Valmiki Ramayana, Balakanda consists of 77 chapters with a total 2232 Slokas. On the first day, 143 Slokas from the first two Sargas will be recited.

 

It may be mentioned here that, TTD has commenced Balakanda Parayanam from July 25 onwards seeking the divine intervention to overcome the fear psychosis of the possibility of Covid Third Wave as being alarmed by scientists, doctors, governments and the entire medical fraternity across the globe likely in the months of September and October, primarily targeting children. 

 

As Balakanda narrates the chronicles of Sri Rama from His Childhood, TTD commenced the Parayanam as soon as Sundarakanda and Yuddhakanda Parayanams were completed.

 

In this unique Sodasadina Balakanda Parayanam, all the 2000 odd Slokas will be completed in 16 days. Simultaneously, Vedic scholars will perform Japa-Tapa-Yagam at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham during these days.

తిరుమల, 2021 సెప్టెంబ‌ర్ 01: ప్రపంచ మానవాళి సంక్షేమం కోసం, క‌రోనా వ్యాధిని అరిక‌ట్టాల‌ని శ్రీ‌వారిని ప్రార్థిస్తూ సెప్టెంబ‌ర్ 3 నుండి 18వ తేదీ వ‌ర‌కు తిరుమ‌ల‌ వ‌సంత మండ‌పంలో రామాయ‌ణంలోని బాల‌కాండ పారాయ‌ణ దీక్ష నిర్వ‌హించ‌నున్నారు. ఇందుకోసం సెప్టెంబ‌ర్ 2వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం తిరుమ‌ల ధ‌ర్మ‌గిరి వేద విజ్ఞాన పీఠంలో అంకురార్ప‌ణ జ‌రుగ‌నుంది.

 బాల‌కాండలోని మొత్తం 77 స‌ర్గ‌ల్లో 2,232 శ్లోకాలు ఉన్నాయి. బాల‌కాండ‌లో బ‌భౌరామఃసంప్ర‌హృష్టఃస‌ర్వ‌దైవ‌తైః అనే 16 అక్ష‌రాల వాక్యం విశిష్ట‌మైన‌ది. ఇందులోని అక్ష‌ర సంఖ్య క్ర‌మం ప్ర‌కారం శ్లోకాలు ఆల‌పిస్తారు. చివ‌రిరోజు ఒక స‌ర్గ ఎక్కువ పారాయ‌ణం చేస్తారు. మొద‌టిరోజైన సెప్టెంబ‌రు 3న మొదటి మూడు స‌ర్గ‌ల్లోని 181 శ్లోకాల‌ను పారాయ‌ణం చేస్తారు.

తిరుమ‌ల‌లోని వ‌సంత‌ మండ‌పంలో ప్ర‌తిరోజూ ఉద‌యం 16 మంది వేద‌, శాస్త్ర పండితుల‌తో పారాయ‌ణ‌దీక్ష చేప‌డ‌తారు. అలాగే మ‌రో 16 మంది పండితులు ఉద‌యం, మ‌ధ్యాహ్నం, సాయంత్రం ధ‌ర్మ‌గిరి శ్రీ వేంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర వేద విజ్ఞాన‌పీఠంలో జ‌ప‌, త‌ర్ప‌ణ‌, హోమాదులు నిర్వ‌హిస్తారు. వీటి వ‌ల్ల స‌క‌లశుభాలు, ఆయురారోగ్యాలు చేకూరుతాయి.
