VENKATACHALA MAHATYAM AND SIGNIFICANCE OF VAHANA SEVAS EXPLAINED _ వేంక‌టాచ‌ల మ‌హ‌త్యం, వాహ‌న‌సేవ‌ల వైశిష్ట్యంపై ఉప‌న్యాసం
TIRUMALA, 08 OCTOBER 2021: As a part of the spiritual programmes mulled by TTD during the ongoing annual brahmotsvams at Tirumala, the importance of Vahana Sevas for the day along with Sri Venkatachala Mahatyam is been explained.
SV Higher Vedic Studies Project Officer Dr A Vibhishana Sharma will render religious discourse on these two important topics every day at Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala between 4pm and 5pm.
On Friday, he explained on the origin of Brahmotsavams and significance of Seshachala ranges which are in existing in all the four yugas. He said in Kruta Yuga, Dharma Devata did penance and received the blessings of Paramatma, while in Treta Yuga, Anjana Devi did Tapas and blessed with Anjaneya Swamy as son while in Dwapara Yuga Adi Sesha, the serpent king did penance and hence the mountain is named after him while in Kaliyuga, Sri Maha Vishnu Himself as Sri Srinivasa also revered as Sri Venkateswara did penance in an anthill and giving the fruits of His Tapas to His beloved devotees.
He said Sri Tondaman Chakravarthi has constructed Tirumala temple with utmost devotion while on the directives of Srivaru, Chaturmukha Brahma commenced Brahmotsavams which were named after him as he first performed this mega festival.

తిరుమల, 2021 అక్టోబ‌రు 08: తిరుమల వ‌సంత మండ‌పంలో బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల రోజుల్లో సాయంత్రం 4 నుండి 5 గంట‌ల వ‌ర‌కు వేంక‌టాచ‌ల మ‌హ‌త్యం, వాహ‌న‌సేవ‌ల వైశిష్ట్యంపై ఉప‌న్యాస కార్య‌క్ర‌మాన్ని ఎస్వీబీసీ ప్ర‌త్య‌క్ష ప్ర‌సారం చేస్తోంది. శ్రీ వేంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర ఉన్న‌త వేదాధ్య‌య‌న సంస్థ ప్రాజెక్టు అధికారి డా. ఆకెళ్ల విభీష‌ణ‌శ‌ర్మ ఉప‌న్య‌సిస్తున్నారు. కార్య‌క్ర‌మంలో వేంక‌టాచ‌ల మ‌హ‌త్యం ఉప‌న్యాసం త‌రువాత ఉద‌యం, రాత్రి జ‌రిగే వాహ‌న‌సేవ‌ల వైశిష్టాన్ని తెలియ‌జేస్తున్నారు. చివ‌రగా వేంక‌టాచ‌ల మ‌హ‌త్యంలోని స్తోత్రాల‌ను 12 మంది వేద‌పండితులు పారాయ‌ణం చేస్తున్నారు.
మూడోరోజైన శుక్ర‌వారం జ‌రిగిన కార్య‌క్ర‌మంలో డా. ఆకెళ్ల విభీష‌ణ‌శ‌ర్మ వేంక‌టాచ‌ల మ‌హ‌త్యంపై ఉప‌న్య‌సిస్తూ బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల ఆవిర్భావం గురించి తెలియ‌జేశారు. శ్రీ వేంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర‌స్వామివారు వెలిసిన శేషాచ‌ల కొండ నాలుగు యుగాల్లోనూ ఉంద‌ని, క‌లియుగంలో దాని మ‌హిమ గొప్ప‌ద‌ని చెప్పారు. పూర్వ‌యుగాల్లో ఇది త‌పో భూమి అని, కృత‌యుగంలో ధ‌ర్మ‌దేవ‌త త‌ప‌స్సు చేసి స్వామివారి అనుగ్ర‌హాన్ని పొందింద‌ని, త్రేతాయుగంలో అంజ‌నాదేవి త‌ప‌స్సు చేసి ఆంజ‌నేయ‌స్వామివారిని పుత్రునిగా పొందార‌ని, ద్వాప‌ర యుగంలో శేషుడు త‌ప‌స్సు చేయ‌గా శేషాద్రిగా పిల‌వ‌బ‌డుతోంద‌ని వివ‌రించారు. క‌లియుగంలో సాక్షాత్తు శ్రీ‌వేంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర‌స్వామి పుట్ట‌లో త‌ప‌స్సు చేసి ఆ ఫ‌లాన్ని భ‌క్తుల‌కు అందించార‌ని తెలిపారు. తొండ‌మాన్ చక్ర‌వ‌ర్తి అశేష‌మైన భ‌క్తి ప్ర‌ప‌త్తుల‌తో శ్రీ‌వారికి ఆల‌యం క‌ట్టించార‌ని, స్వామివారి ఆజ్ఞ మేర‌కు చ‌తుర్ముఖ బ్ర‌హ్మ ఉత్స‌వాలు జ‌రిపించార‌ని, కావున బ్ర‌హ్మోత్స‌వాలుగా ప్ర‌సిద్ధి చెందాయ‌ని వివ‌రించారు.
