ADHYAYANOTSAVAMS CONCLUDES WITH TANNIRAMUDU FESTIVAL_ శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ముగిసిన అధ్యయనోత్సవాలు
Tirumala, 31 December 2018: The annual Adhyayanotsavams in Tirumala temple concluded with Tanniramudu festival on Monday.
This 25 day festival commenced on December 7, eleven days prior to Vaikuntha Ekadasi. The first eleven days are known as Rapathu and next eleven days Pagalpathu and on final day Tanniramudu festival aas observed.
The decendants of Tata charya dynasty observes the fete with religious fervour. Tatacharya was none other than Tirumala Nambi.
TANNIRAMUDU SIGNIFICANCE
During the 11th century, there lived a great devotee of the Lord on the “Sri Sailapurna” hills. He dedicated his entire life to the services of the Lord and in His aradhana. He is known as Tirumala Nambi.
Being an ardent devotee of Lord, Tirumala Nambi used to bring water from Papanasam situated at a distance of 8 kilometers from Tirumala for the puja. One day a fowler approached and demanded him for water to quench his thirst after addressing Tirumala Nambi as “Thatha”. He refused to give water as it is intended for the Abhishekam of the Lord.
Thereafter the fowler following Tirumala Nambi pierced the pot with a stone and drank the water which oozed out of the pot. Nambi was saddened by this act as the water was lost. The fowler then discharged an arrow at the hillock near by and water came gushing from the place hit by the arrow.
The new fountain became popular as Akasaganga. The fowler commanded that the water for the Lord’s puja should thenceforth be brought from Akasaganga and disappeared. Sri Nambi who is also known as Sri Sailapurna was convinced that the fowler was none other than Lord Srinivasa.
Sri Sailapurna performed various kainkaryams such as Akasaganga Theertha Kainkaryam, Thomalaseva, Mantrapushpa Kainkaryam, Saathumurai, Thirumanjanam and Vedaparayanam. Hence he was also called “Uthama Purusha” or “Acharya Purusha” of Tirumala Temple.
Even today, the decedents of Nambi are carrying out the fete in memory of Nambi on the last day of Adhyayanotsavams.

శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ముగిసిన అధ్యయనోత్సవాలు
తిరుమల, 31 డిసెంబరు 2018: తిరుమల శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో డిసెంబరు 7వ తేదీ నుండి 25 రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన అధ్యయనోత్సవాలు సోమవారం ముగిశాయి. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆలయంలోని రంగనాయకుల మండపంలో శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారిని వేంచేపు చేసి దివ్యప్రబంధ గోష్టి నిర్వహించారు.
గత 25 రోజులుగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో శ్రీవైష్ణవ జీయంగార్లు 12 మంది ఆళ్వార్లు రచించిన దివ్యప్రబంధ పాశురాలను గోష్ఠిగానం ద్వారా స్వామివారికి నివేదించారు. ఆళ్వార్‌ దివ్యప్రబంధంలోని 4 వేల పాశురాలను పారాయణం చేశారు.
సోమవారంనాడు అధ్యయనోత్సవాల్లో చివరిరోజు కావడంతో ”తన్నీరముదు” ఉత్సవం నిర్వహించారు. అధ్యయనోత్సవాలు ముగిసిన అనంతరం మరుసటిరోజు అనగా జనవరి 1న శ్రీదేవి భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారు దక్షిణ మాడ వీధిలోని శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి ఆలయానికి వేంచేస్తారు.
ఘనంగా ”తిరుమలనంబి తన్నీరముదు” ఉత్సవం
శ్రీ వైష్ణవ భక్తాగ్రేసరుడు, శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరుని సేవలో తన జీవితాన్ని అర్పించిన మహనీయుడైన శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి స్మృత్యర్థం ప్రతి ఏడాదీ నిర్వహించే ”తన్నీరముదు” ఉత్సవం తిరుమలలో సోమవారం నాడు ఘనంగా జరిగింది. సాయంత్రం సహస్ర దీపాలంకార సేవ అనంతరం శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారు తిరుమాడ వీధి ఆలయ ప్రదక్షిణముగా వాహన మండపానికి వేంచేపు చేస్తారు. తిరుమలనంబి ఆలయం నుండి వీధి ప్రదక్షిణంగా తిరుమలనంబి వంశీకులు శిరస్సుపై బిందెలతో ఆకాశగంగ తీర్థాన్ని వాహన మండపానికి తీసుకొస్తారు. అనంతరం వేదమంత్రోచ్ఛారణ నడుమ జీయర్‌ స్వాములు, ఆచార్య పురుషులు, ప్రబంధ పండితులు పవిత్ర తీర్థజలంతో ఆలయంలోకి వేంచేపు చేశారు.
అనంతరం తిరుమలనంబి వంశీకులు స్వామివారి మూలవిరాట్టు పాదాలపై అమరి ఉన్న బంగారు తొడుగునకు పవిత్ర ఆకాశగంగ జలంతో అభిషేకం చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా తిరుమలనంబి రచించిన ”తిరుమొళి పాశురాలను” పారాయణం చేశారు.
