Tirumala, 14 September 2018: As it is often said, that the mightiness and richness is described in terms of Radha, Gaja, Turaga Dalams, Lord Venkateswara is undoubtedly the Lord of Riches, as the caparisoned elephants, horses and bulls are the star attractions during vahana devas in the ongoing annual brahmotsavams, said Dr Harinath Reddy, Director SV Gosala of TTD.
During the media conference at the Media center on Friday, the Director said, While the Elephants symbolised the Wealth, Horse -Strength and Bull-Dharma all the three were part of the celestial procession of Lord Venkateswara on the mada streets.
In all 4 bulls, 4 horses and 4 elephants are decked in colorful apparel participates in the Vahana procession every day after the Brahma Artham and they were trained in withstanding the crowd presence and glittering lights and noise during last two months under the able guidance of veterinary doctors and experts.
Adequate arrangements providing timely Napier grass, sugarcane leaves, water for all the elephants and other fodder for remaining animals have been made. Precautionary steps to tackle the elephants with chains, ropes and iron pokes were also kept ready to meet emergency situation, the Director said.

సెప్టెంబరు 14, తిరుమల 2018: శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో ప్రత్యేకంగా అలంకరించిన గజరాజులు, అశ్వాలు, వృషభాలు భక్తులకు ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలుస్తున్నాయ‌ని టిటిడి శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర గోసంరక్షణశాల సంచాలకులు డా|| హరినాథరెడ్డి తెలిపారు. తిరుమలలోని రాంభగీచా-2లో గల మీడియా సెంటర్‌లో శుక్ర‌వారం ఆయన మీడియా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా డా|| హరినాథరెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ గజం ఐశ్వ‌ర్యానికి, అశ్వం పౌరుషానికి, వృష‌భం ధ‌ర్మానికి ప్ర‌తీక‌ల‌ని, జ‌గ‌ద్ర‌క్షకుడైన శ్రీవారి ఊరేగింపులో ఇవి పాల్గొన‌డంతో రాజ‌ద‌ర్బారును త‌ల‌పిస్తుంద‌ని అన్నారు. బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో మొత్తం 4 గజాలు, 4 అశ్వాలు, 4 వృషభాలను వాహనసేవల ఊరేగింపులో వినియోగిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఇందుకోసం రెండు నెలల ముందు నుంచే జంతువైద్య నిపుణుల పర్యవేక్షణలో ప్రత్యేకంగా శిక్షణ ఇచ్చామని వివరించారు. బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో పెద్ద ఎత్తున విద్యుత్‌ దీపాలు, కళాబృందాల వాయిద్యాలతో జంతువులకు విభిన్నమైన వాతావరణం ఉంటుందని, దీనికి అలవాటుపడేలా శిక్షణ ఇచ్చామని తెలిపారు. వీటి కోసం మాడ వీధుల్లో ప్రత్యేకంగా ఆహారం, తాగునీరు అందించే ఏర్పాట్లు చేశామన్నారు. గ‌జాల‌కు ప్రియ‌మైన రావి కొమ్మ‌లు, మ‌ర్రి కొమ్మ‌లు, చెర‌కు గ‌డ‌లు, నేపియ‌ర్ గ‌డ్డి అందిస్తామ‌ని చెప్పారు. గ‌జాల‌ను అదుపు చేసేందుకు మావ‌టిలు అంకుశం, తాడు, గొలుసు సిద్ధంగా ఉంచుకుంటార‌ని, జంతువైద్య నిపుణులు ప్ర‌త్యేక‌మైన ప‌రిక‌రాల‌తో అందుబాటులో ఉంటార‌ని తెలియ‌జేశారు.
అదేవిధంగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయం, ఇతర స్థానిక ఆలయాల్లో నైవేద్యం, ఇతర కైంకర్యాల కోసం నెయ్యి, పెరుగు, పాలు అందిస్తున్నామ‌ని, అన్నప్రసాద విభాగానికి 16 వేల నుండి 20 వేల లీట‌ర్ల వ‌ర‌కు పాల‌ను సరఫరా చేస్తున్నామ‌ని వివరించారు. తిరుప‌తి, తిరుమ‌ల‌లో ప్ర‌తిరోజూ గోపూజ నిర్వ‌హిస్తున్నామ‌ని, వైకుంఠం క్యూ కాంప్లెక్స్‌-1 వ‌ద్ద భ‌క్తులు మొద‌ట ద‌ర్శించుకునేందుకు వీలుగా గోవుల‌ను ఉంచామ‌ని తెలిపారు.
