TIRUMALA, 13 SEPTEMBER 2022: Aiming for a “Disease-free” society, TTD is promoting Organic Natural Farming, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
A meeting with Organic farmers hailing from the districts of Rayalaseema was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the EO called on the organic peasants to concentrate on cultivating vegetables through natural farming techniques. “Last year we have commenced preparing Naivedyam to Sri Venkateswara Swamy using organic products and “Govinduniki Go Adharita Naivedyam” has become so popular within no time. Similarly, we want to extend the same in preparation of Annaprasadams that is being served to tens of thousands of pilgrims’ everyday”, he maintained.
Adding further he said, “To establish a “Disease-free” society we should aim for providing the multitude of visiting pilgrims, tasty and hygienic food prepared out of natural farming ingredients and vegetables which is possible only with the co-operation of organic farmers. I urge you to concentrate more and grow vegetables deploying Natural farming techniques. We tie up our Vegetable Donors with each one of you to purchase your produce at a reliable price and donate the same to TTD for making delicious and healthy Annaprasadams”, he said.
The EO said, the organic farmers should be enlisted. First preference will be given to the natural farmers hailing from Tirupati and Chittoor districts keeping in view their proximity as it will be convenient for our transportation as well storage needs. Based on our daily requirement of vegetables we will slowly involve other nearby districts like Annamaiah, Kadapa, Nellore etc. also in a phased manner”, he observed.
Earlier, the men and women farmers hailing from Tirupati, Chittoor, Annamaiah, Kurnool expressed their experience in the field of Organic Natural Farming thanked TTD EO for giving them an opportunity to be a part in the divine mission thereby giving boost to Natural Farming. They assured to meet the Annaprasadam requirements of TTD by cultivating organic vegetables in more extent of their farm lands.

తిరుమల, 2022 సెప్టెంబ‌రు 13″ఆరోగ్య‌క‌ర‌మైన” సమాజ నిర్మాణ‌మే లక్ష్యంగా టీటీడీ సేంద్రియ సహజ వ్యవసాయాన్ని ప్రోత్సహిస్తోందని ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి.ధర్మారెడ్డి అన్నారు. తిరుమలలోని అన్నమయ్య భవనంలో మంగళవారం రాయలసీమ జిల్లాలకు చెందిన సేంద్రియ రైతులతో ఈవో సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ, సేంద్రియ రైతులు ప్రకృతి వ్యవసాయ పద్ధతుల్లో కూరగాయల సాగుపై దృష్టి సారించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. “గోవిందునికి గో అధారిత నైవేద్యం” ను టీటీడీ గత ఏడాది నుండి సేంద్రీయ వ్య‌వ‌సాయంతో పండించిన పంట‌తో నైవేద్యం స‌మ‌ర్పించ‌డం ప్రారంభించింద‌ని, అనతికాలంలోనే దీనికి భ‌క్తుల నుండి విశేష ఆదరణ ల‌భించింద‌ని చెప్పారు. అదేవిధంగా ప్రకృతి వ్య‌వ‌సాయంతో పండించిన కూరగాయలతో భ‌క్తుల‌కు కూడా అన్నప్రసాద విత‌ర‌ణ చేయాల‌ని భావిస్తున్న‌ట్లు తెలిపారు. త‌ద్వారా వారికి మ‌రింత రుచికరమైన ఆహారాన్ని అందించ‌డ‌మే గాక ఆరోగ్య క‌ర‌మైన ఆహారాన్ని అందించ‌డానికి ఎంత‌గానో ఉప‌యోగప‌డుతుంద‌న్నారు.
“వ్యాధి ర‌హిత” సమాజాన్ని నెలకొల్పడానికి, సహజ వ్యవసాయ ప‌ద్ధ‌తుల‌తో పండించిన కూరగాయలతో తయారుచేసిన రుచికరమైన మరియు పరిశుభ్రమైన ఆహారాన్ని అందించడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకోవాల‌ని, ఇది సేంద్రీయ రైతుల సహకారంతో మాత్రమే సాధ్యమవుతుంద‌ని చెప్పారు. రైతులు మరింతగా దృష్టి కేంద్రీకరించి, సహజ వ్యవసాయ పద్ధతులను అనుసరించి కూరగాయలను పండించాలని ఈవో కోరారు. వారు పండించిన కూరగాయల పంట‌ల కొనుగోలుకు ఒక్కొక్క రైతుకు ఒక్కొక్క దాత‌ను అనుసంధానం చేయ‌నున్న‌ట్లు తెలిపారు.
సేంద్రియ రైతులు మ‌రింత మంది ప్రకృతి వ్యవసాయ రైతులను ప్రొత్స‌హించి జాబిత రూపొందించాల‌న్నారు. అయితే టీటీడీ రవాణా, సామీప్య‌త మరియు నిల్వ ప‌రిమితుల‌ను దృష్ఠిలో ఉంచుకొని తిరుపతి, చిత్తూరు జిల్లాల నుండి వచ్చిన సహజ రైతులకు మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తుంద‌న్నారు. రోజువారీ కూరగాయల అవసరాల ఆధారంగా అన్నమయ్య, కడప, నెల్లూరు, కర్నూలు మొదలైన ఇతర జిల్లాలను కూడా దశలవారీగా కలుపుతాము ” అని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
అంతకుముందు, తిరుపతి, చిత్తూరు, అన్నమయ్య, కర్నూలు జిల్లాలకు చెందిన మ‌హిళ మరియు పురుష రైతులు సేంద్రియ ప్రకృతి వ్యవసాయ రంగంలో తమకున్న అనుభవాన్ని తెలియజేశారు, ప్రకృతి సేద్యానికి ఊతమిచ్చే అవకాశం కల్పించిన టీటీడీ ఈవోకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. తమ వ్యవసాయ భూముల్లో ఎక్కువ విస్తీర్ణంలో సేంద్రియ కూరగాయలు పండించడం ద్వారా టీటీడీకి అన్నప్రసాదం అవసరాలు తీరుస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
అన్నప్రసాదం డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీ సెల్వం, క్యాటరింగ్ స్పెషల్ ఆఫీసర్ శ్రీ జీఎల్‌ఎన్ శాస్త్రి, రాయలసీమ జిల్లాలకు చెందిన సేంద్రియ రైతులు స‌మావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
