IIT EXPERTS INSPECT LAND SLIDES ON TIRUMALA GHAT ROADS _ ఘాట్‌ రోడ్లలో కొండచరియలను పరిశీలించిన ఐఐటి నిపుణుల బృందం
Tirumala, 24 Nov. 21: A team of IIT experts from Pune on Wednesday inspected the points where landslides occurred on the up ghat and down ghat roads and also at other locations due to the unprecedented rainfall witnessed last Thursday.
On the directions of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, the experts team were invited to suggest permanent solutions to avert landslides in the Tirumala belt and all precautionary steps needed for the safety of devotees and TTD employees.
The experts team also inspected the damaged roads, retainer walls etc. in Tirumala and made valuable ad hoc suggestions.
The team is expected to present their report soon to TTD on immediate and permanent measures needed to stall landslides and avert human and property losses in future.

తిరుమల, 2021 న‌వంబ‌రు 24: ఇటీవల వరుసగా కురిసిన భారీ వర్షాలకు ఘాట్‌ రోడ్లలోని కొండచరియలు విరిగిప‌డిన విష‌యం విధిత‌మే. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో అలిపిరి, తిరుమ‌ల‌లోని ప‌లు ప్రాంతాలు, రెండు ఘాట్‌ రోడ్లలోని కొండచరియలను చెన్నై ఐఐటి నిపుణుల బృందం బుధ‌వారం ఉదయం పరిశీలించింది.
టిటిడి ఈవో డాక్ట‌ర్ కె.ఎస్‌.జ‌వ‌హ‌ర్‌రెడ్డి, అద‌న‌పు ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి.ధ‌ర్మారెడ్డి ఆదేశాల మేరకు కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడకుండా ముందస్తుగా తీసుకోవాల్సిన జాగ్రత్తలపై సూచనల కోసం ఐఐటి నిపుణులను ఆహ్వానించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా టిటిడి ఇంజినీరింగ్ అధికారులు వర్షాలకు దెబ్బ‌తిన్న రోడ్లు, గోడ‌లు త‌దిత‌ర ప్రాంతాల‌ను ఐఐటి నిపుణులకు చూపించి వివ‌రించారు.
ఐఐటి నిపుణులు త్వరలో స‌మ‌గ్ర నివేదికను టిటిడి ఉన్న‌తాధికారుల‌కు అందిచ‌నున్నారు. ఈ మేరకు కొండ చరియలు విరిగిపడకుండా పటిష్టమైన చర్యలు టిటిడి చేప‌ట్ట‌నుంది.
