MOCK DRILL BY OCTOPUS COMMANDOS, POLICE AND TTD VIGILANCE AT TIRUMALA _ ఆక్టోపస్ పోలీసు దళం మాక్ డ్రిల్

Tirumala, 21 December 2021: On the directions of TTD CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti and Tirupati Urban SP Sri CH V Appala Naidu, a coordinated mock drill of the vigilance, octopus commando unit, and police units of Tirumala was held on late night of Monday between 9.00- pm to 01.00 am.

The mock drill a regular practice at the hill shrine every year was undertaken for the first time after Corona 1.00-2.00 waves.

The objective of the mock drill was to stage a counter-attack on any terrorist-like attack in Tirumala, provide safety to devotees and protect both the Srivari temple and other infrastructure of TTD.

The drill also aimed at showcasing the coordinated action for the release of devotees held as hostages from any of the rest houses in Tirumala and recovery of arms from attackers. The exercise also aimed at sending a strong message to devotees and also attackers that Tirumala is a safe haven for only religious and dharmic activities.

తిరుమల, 2021డిసెంబ‌రు 21: తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానముల ముఖ్య నిఘా మరియు భద్రతాధికారి శ్రీ గోపినాథ్ జెట్టి, తిరుపతి అర్బన్ ఎస్‌.పి శ్రీ సిహెచ్. వెంకట అప్పల నాయుడు ఆదేశాల మేరకు సోమవారం రాత్రి 9 గంటల నుండి అర్ధరాత్రి 1.00 గంట వరకు తిరుమలలోని ఒక విశ్రాంతి గృహం వద్ద ఆక్టోపస్ పోలీసు దళం, నిఘా మరియు భద్రత విభాగం, పోలీసు, సంబంధిత శాఖల సమన్వయంతో మాక్ డ్రిల్ నిర్వహించడం జరిగింది.

తిరుమలలో తరచుగా ఇటువంటి మాక్ డ్రిల్స్ నిర్వహించేవారు. కరోనా వ్యాధి కారణంగా కొద్ది కాలం దీన్ని వాయిదా వేశారు. ప్రస్తుతం సదరు వ్యాధి తగ్గుముఖం పట్టినందున పునఃప్రారంభించారు.

సంఘ విద్రోహులు తిరుమలలోని ఏదైనా ప్రదేశంపై దాడి చేసినప్పుడు తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానముల భద్రతా దళాలు సాధ్యమైనంత త్వరగా వారిపై ఎదురుదాడి చేసి, వారి చెరలో వున్న బందీలను సురక్షితంగా విడిపించి, స్వామి వారి భక్తులకు ఎలాంటి అపాయం జరగకుండా, టిటిడి ఆస్తులకు ఎలాంటి నష్టం వాటిల్లకుండా కాపాడడం ఈ మాక్ డ్రిల్ ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశ్యం.

ఆ విధంగా తిరుమలలోని ఒక విశ్రాంతి గృహంపై సంఘ విద్రోహులు దాడి చేసి అతిథులను బందీలుగా చేసినట్లు, సమాచారం అందిన వెంటనే తిరుమలలోని ఆక్టోపస్ పోలీసు దళం, స్థానిక నిఘా మరియు భద్రత విభాగం, పోలీసు మరియు ఇతర సంబంధిత శాఖల సమన్వయంతో వెంటనే ఎదురుదాడి చేసి బందీలుగా వున్న అతిథులను ఎలాంటి ప్రాణాపాయం లేకుండా సురక్షితంగా రక్షించి, విడిపించి వారి వద్ద నుండి మారణాయుధాలను, మందుగుండు సామగ్రిని స్వాధీన పరుచుకోవడమైనది. ఇప్పటి నుండి ఇటువంటి మాక్ డ్రిల్ లను తరుచుగా నిర్వహించి తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానాల భద్రతా వ్యవస్థ ఎంత అప్రమత్తంగా వుందో దుండగులకు ఒక హెచ్చరిక లాగా, స్వామి వారి భక్తులకు భరోసా లాగా సందేశం ఇవ్వడం జరుగుతుంది.

తిరుపతి లోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాల్లో కూడా ఈ తరహా మాక్ డ్రిల్ నిర్వహించడం జరుగుతుంది.
