Tirupati,24 September 2021: TTD Executive Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has directed the TTD Pundit Mandali on Friday evening to complete the translation works of all Astadasha Puranas taken up under Purana Itihas project ahead of next year annual Brahmotsavams without fail.
Addressing the TTD pundit mandali at the SVETA conference hall he said only four Puranas translation has been completed so far and rest of 14 Puranas translation should be completed by annual Brahmotsavam next year, by roping in services of more pundits, if necessary.
He said presently pundits were working on, the project for 7 days in a month which could be enhanced to 10 days in a month here afterwards.
The EO said free accommodation shall be provided to both the pundits and their spouses when they come to Tirupati for translation work.
He informed the pundits committee that there was tremendous popular response for the parayanams of Garudapurana, Bhagavadgita and other Parayanams taken up since the commencement of pandemic Corona.
He said the SVBC channel is keen to telecast all the 18 Puranas and urged the pundits to translate the Puranas in an easy language for common devotees benefit and the young generation to choose the right path with understanding of Puranas and the historical legacy of the nation.
Earlier the TTD EO presented Srivari Thirtha Prasadams to pundita Parishad members.

అదేవిధంగా దాస సాహిత్యంలోని 5 నుండి 10 వేల దాస సంకీర్త‌న‌ల‌ను సేక‌రించేందుకు కృషి చేయాల‌ని అధికారుల‌ను ఆదేశించారు. దాస సాహిత్య‌నికి విస్తృత ప్ర‌చారం క‌ల్పించేందుకు క‌ర్ణాట‌క‌లోని బెంగూళూరు విశ్వ‌విద్యాల‌యంతో ఒప్ప‌దం చేసుకోవాల‌ని సూచించారు. దాస సాహిత్య కీర్త‌న‌లు ప్ర‌చారం చేసేందుకు ఎస్వీబీసిలో ప్ర‌త్యేక టైం స్లాట్ కేటాయించాల‌న్నారు. ఎస్వీ రికార్డింగ్ ప్రాజెక్టు రికార్డు చేసిన 300 దాస సంకీర్త‌న‌ల‌తో ” దాస న‌మ‌నం ” పేరుతో క‌ర్ణాట‌క‌లో పాటల పోటీలు నిర్వ‌హించాల‌ని ఈవో ఆదేశించారు.

Tirumala, 24 September 2021: TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has said that the TTD will set up an Annamaiah Chair at the National Sanskrit University in Tirupati to conduct comprehensive research on the patriarch of prose poetry, Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya.
During a review meeting held on TTD projects at Annamaiah Bhavan on Thursday evening, the TTD EO directed the officials to take necessary measures in this direction.
Speaking on the occasion the TTD EO instructed officials to upload the digital version of Annamaiah Sankeetans on the TTD website and also provide wide publicity to the new SVBC program, “Adivo…Alladivo”.
He urged officials to organise quiz, essay writing and oratory contests on the Sankeetans of Annamaiah and Vengamamba.
He asked officials to conceive Annamaiah Lahiri program with complete with definition, significance etc. of all the available 14,000 Annamaiah Sankeertans.
Similarly, the TTD EO instructed officials to strive to gather all the 5,000 to 10,000 Dasa Sankeertans from Dasa Sahitya and also sign an agreement with Bangalore University Karnataka to provide wide publicity to Dasa Sahitya.
He asked officials to promote publicity on a prime slot for Dasa Sahitya Sankeetans on SVBC and also conduct contests titled Dasa Namana for Dasa Sankeertans from the 300 Sankeetans recorded by the SV Recording Project.
The TTD EO also reviewed the activities of the Divya Prabandam Project, SV Recording Project and made valuable suggestions.
