Tirumala, 2 Jun. 21: The ongoing Alipiri Footpath renovation and repair works will be completed on a fast pace said TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
Speaking to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday he said, in view of the Corona pandemic across the country, TTD has released only 5000 tickets of Rs.300 tickets in online for the month of June.
Darshan is getting completed by 8pm and so we are now performing Ekanta Seva to Srivaru for nine hours he said.
The devotees coming on the Footpath route has also considerably decreased and so we felt this is the appropriate time to complete the Alipiri Footpath works since we have closed the route till July. We have opened Srivari mettu for devotees between 6am and 4pm and also arranged free buses from Tirupati Railway station and Alipiri to Srivari Mettu for the sake of devotees who prefer to walk to Tirumala along this footpath route. Necessary security arrangements have also been made along this route, he told.
Once the Corona pandemic reduces, after discussing with Chairman and EO we will decide on increasing or decreasing the Darshan tickets, the Additional EO said.

తిరుమల 2 జూన్ 2021: అలిపిరి నుంచి తిరుమలకు వెళ్ళే నడకదారి నిర్మాణం పనులు వేగంగా పూర్తి చేస్తామని అదనపు ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి ధర్మారెడ్డి చెప్పారు.
తిరుమల అన్నమయ్య భవనంలో బుధవారం సాయంత్రం ఆయన మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు.
కరోనా తీవ్రత దృష్ట్యా జూన్ నెలలో రోజుకు 5 వేల ప్రత్యేక ప్రవేశ దర్శనం టికెట్లు మాత్రమే ఇచ్చామని అదనపు ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి ధర్మారెడ్డి చెప్పారు. రాత్రి 8 గంటలకు దర్శనం పూర్తి అవుతున్నందున 9 గంటలకు స్వామివారి ఏకాంత సేవ నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
కరోనా తీవ్రతను అంచనా వేశాక టీటీడీ చైర్మన్, ఈవో తో సమీక్షించి టికెట్ల సంఖ్య పెంచడమో, తగ్గించడమో నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటామన్నారు.
అలిపిరి నుంచి తిరుమలకు వచ్చే నడక దారి పైకప్పు నిర్మాణం పనులు వేగంగా చేయడం కోసం జూలై 30 వరకు భక్తులను అనుమతించడం లేదన్నారు. కరోనా వల్ల నడక దారిలో భక్తులు చాలా తక్కువ సంఖ్యలో వస్తున్నారన్నారు. పైకప్పు పనులు వేగంగా పూర్తి చేయడానికి ఇదే సరైన సమయమనే అభిప్రాయంతో ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నామన్నారు. తిరుమలకు నడచి రావాలనుకునే భక్తులు శ్రీవారి మెట్టు మార్గంలో రావాలని ఆయన కోరారు. ఇందుకోసం తిరుపతి రైల్వే స్టేషన్, అలిపిరి నుంచి శ్రీవారి మెట్టు వరకు ఉచిత బస్సులు ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఉదయం 6 నుంచి సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల వరకు ఈ మార్గంలో భక్తులను అనుమతిస్తామన్నారు. ఈ మార్గంలో అవసరమైన భద్రత ఏర్పాట్లు చేశామన్నారు.
