BRING AWARENESS AMONG FARMERS ON PANCHA GAVYA PRODUCTS-TTD EO

ONE DAY GO SADAS STRESSES ON DESI COW PROTECTION

Tirupati, 10 January 2017: The mission of TTD is to protect the Desi Cows as well create awareness among the farmers on the importance of Pancha Gavya products which could be used as organic products even in farming, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The one day national Conference held on the importance of protection, promotion and propagation of Desi Cows and Pancha Gavya Products took place in SVETA building in Tirupati on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion, the EO said, there is dire need to save indigenous cow breeds to have healthy milk products. “Even the first and foremost motto of TTD’s SV Gosamrakshana Trust is to protect and promote desi cows”, he reiterated. He said, about 60 representatives from various NGOs and other Cow Protection organisations present across the country took part in this one day seminar on Desi Go Protection. “The outcome of the meeting will be enlisted and future plan of action towards the protection of desi cow breeds and panchagavya products will be taken up accordingly in future”, he added.

Earlier speaking on this occasion, the TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, there is an urgent need to chalk out an action plan towards the protection of Desi breed cows by TTD and like minded NGOs.

He said as a part of its Gosamrakshana activity, TTD is safe guarding around 250 desi cows in its Goshala at Palamaner. “We have ben offering support all the NGOs we are striving hard towards the protection of Desi cows and we continue to support them. Our aim to save the Desi cows for future generations “, he asserted.

Meanwhile representatives from various Desi Cow Protection instituions across the states AP, TS, TN, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Gujrat, Maharastra, MP, Chattisgarh and Jharkhand also took part in this seminar.
