Tirupati,23 February 2023:TTD Chief Audit Officer Sri Sesha Shailendra hailed the teachers are our role models and best guides to achieve high niches in life.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 2022-23 Students’ council at Sri Padmavati Mahila Degree and PG College as Chief Guest, he exhorted students to understand the significance of Bhagavadgita wherein role of teachers were extolled for identifying the skills and introducing society to individuals.

TTD DEO Dr Bhaskar Reddy said the institute had bagged NAAC A+ recognition and is regarded as the best educational institution in the country.

College Principal Dr K Mahadevamma said 606 students had online admission for the current academic year and urged students to utilise college infrastructure in sports, NCC, NSS for their personality promotion etc.

The students put up a colourful cultural program on the occasion.

College students council in-charge Dr Bhuvaneswari Devi, retired Telugu department Head Dr Premavati, IIC coordinator Dr Umarani, warden Dr Vidhyulata and other students and faculty were present.

తిరుపతి, 2023 ఫిబ్రవరి 23: జీవితంలో ఉన్నతస్థాయికి చేరడానికి గురువులను మార్గదర్శకులుగా భావించాలని టీటీడీ చీఫ్‌ ఆడిట్‌ ఆఫీసర్‌

శ్రీ శేషశైలేంద్ర కోరారు. శ్రీ పద్మావతి మహిళా డిగ్రీ, పిజి కళాశాలలో 2022- 23 విద్యాసంవత్సరానికి గాను స్టూడెంట్‌ కౌన్సిల్‌ ప్రారంభోత్సవం గురువారం జరిగింది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేసిన సిఏవో మాట్లాడుతూ, మనలో ఉన్న నైపుణ్యాన్ని గుర్తించి లోపాలు సరిదిద్ది సమాజానికి పరిచయం చేసేవారు గురువులన్నారు. అధ్యాపకులు చెప్పిన విషయాలను చక్కగా విని జీవితాన్ని సరిదిద్దుకోవాలని కోరారు. భగవద్గీత ప్రాముఖ్యతను తెలుసుకోవాలన్నారు. సహజ లక్షణాలైన ఆకలి, భయం, నిద్ర, కోరికలను నియంత్రించుకుని, మనిషి అభద్రతాభావాన్ని విడనాడాలని తెలిపారు.

విశిష్ట అతిథిగా విచ్చేసిన డిఈవో డా.ఎం.భాస్కర్‌రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, ఈ కళాశాల నాక్‌ ఎప్లస్‌ గ్రేడ్‌ సాధించి దేశంలోనే ఉత్తమ కళాశాలగా గుర్తింపు పొందిందన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా విద్యార్థినులు ప్రదర్శించిన సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి.

కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపల్‌ డా.కె.మహదేవమ్మ మాట్లాడుతూ, ఎస్వీ యూనివర్సిటీ మార్కుల మెరిట్‌ ఆధారంగా విద్యార్థి సంఘ సభ్యులను ఎంపిక చేశామని తెలిపారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా వారికి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేశారు. విద్యార్థినులందరూ క్రమశిక్షణతో నడుచుకుని మంచి మార్కులతో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. మొదటి సంవత్సరంలో చేరిన విద్యార్థినులందరూ కళాశాలలోని ఎన్‌సిసి, ఎన్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్‌, స్పోర్ట్స్‌లో తమకిష్టమైన వాటిలో పేరు నమోదు చేసుకోవాలని కోరారు. ఈ ఏడాది ఆన్‌లైన్‌ అడ్మిషన్ల ద్వారా 606 మంది విద్యార్థినులు ప్రవేశం పొందారని తెలిపారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో స్టూడెంట్‌ కౌన్సిల్‌ ఇన్‌చార్జి డా. భువనేశ్వరిదేవి, విశ్రాంత తెలుగు విభాగాధిపతి డా. ప్రేమావతి, ఐఐసి కో ఆర్డినేటర్‌ డా.ఉమారాణి, వార్డెన్‌ డా.విద్యుల్లత ఇతర అధ్యాపకులు, విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
