TIRUMALA, 23 July 2022: TTD in a statement released on Saturday denied the reports of any insult done to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Pride of Maharashtrians as alleged by a devotee through a video clip.
TTD reiterated its commitment that travel from Alipiri to Tirumala is strictly observed in a devotional and spiritual atmosphere only.
Details of the incident were that a vehicle from Maharashtra was stopped at the Alipiri toll gate checkpoint a couple of days ago and during routine vehicle checking the devotee was informed that except the images of the deities of the Hindu religion, images of any person or celebrity or political party flags or any emblems and signs belonging to other faiths or religious propaganda materials should not be displayed or allowed on the vehicle as it is a practice in vogue since several decades.
After verifying the idol of Shivaji Maharaj in the car for a while the vehicle was allowed. But even before, the devotee lost his temper and using harsh words created a video then and there itself alleging that TTD has insulted Shivaji Maharaj and made it viral on social media trying to create unrest provoking others.
TTD strongly denies the contents of the video that is doing rounds on social media and reiterates its commitment to keep the hill shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy purely devotional.

తిరుమ‌ల, 2022 జులై 23: మహారాష్ట్రీయులకు గర్వకారణమైన ఛత్రపతి శివాజీ మహరాజ్‌కు అవమానం జరిగినట్లు ఓ భక్తుడు వీడియో క్లిప్ ద్వారా ఆరోపించడాన్ని టిటిడి శనివారం ఒక ప్రకటనలో ఖండించింది. శ్రీ‌వారి ద‌ర్శ‌నానికి విచ్చేసే భ‌క్తులు త‌మ వాహ‌నాల‌కు వ్య‌క్తుల విగ్ర‌హాలు, ఫొటోలు, రాజకీయ పార్టీల జెండాలు, చిహ్నాలు, అన్య‌మ‌త ప్ర‌చారానికి సంబంధించిన ప్ర‌చార సామ‌గ్రి తిరుమలకు తీసుకువెళ్ల‌డాన్ని టిటిడి కొన్ని దశాబ్దాల క్రితమే నిషేధించింది.
ఈ మేర‌కు రెండు రోజుల క్రితం మహారాష్ట్రకు చెందిన వాహనాన్ని అలిపిరి చెక్‌పాయింట్‌ వద్ద భ‌ద్ర‌తా సిబ్బంది నిలిపి త‌నిఖీ చేశారు. ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా భ‌ద్ర‌తా సిబ్బంది న‌ల్ల‌టి రంగులో ఉన్న ఒక ప్ర‌తిమ‌ను గుర్తించారు. ఆ ప్ర‌తిమ ఛత్రపతి శివాజీద‌ని తెలుసుకుని తిరుమలకు అనుమ‌తించారు. దేవతామూర్తుల చిత్రాలు తప్ప, వ్య‌క్తుల విగ్ర‌హాలు, రాజకీయ పార్టీల జెండాలు, ఇతర చిహ్నాలను ప్రదర్శించరాదని స‌ద‌రు భక్తుడిని కోరారు. అయితే ఆ భక్తుడు శివాజీ మహారాజ్‌ను టిటిడి అవమానించిందని ఆరోపిస్తూ తీవ్ర పదజాలంతో వీడియో రూపొందించి, ఇతరులను రెచ్చగొట్టేలా సోషల్ మీడియాలో వైరల్ చేశారు. సోషల్ మీడియాలో ఉన్న వీడియోలోని విషయాలను టిటిడి తీవ్రంగా ఖండించింది.
