TIRUPATI, 14 APRIL 20233: The TTD-run Sri Venkateswara Vedic University is the only varsity which has UGC recognition among Vedic universities in the entire country, and we need to extend our services in the Northern belt of India apart from Telugu and southern states, said TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.
Under his chairmanship, the Executive Committee Meetings of SV Vedic University and HDPP were held at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Friday evening.
Later briefing the media on the same, he said, the EC meeting has decided to conduct the Seventh Convocation of SVVU on April 28. He said TTD is contemplating to commence the services of Vedic Varsity in Rushikesh soon. With an aim to enhance the strength of students in Vedic studies, TTD has decided to commence Purana Pravachanam, Yoga, Dhyanam and other occult sciences as certificate courses in the institution.
The Adarsha Veda Gurukula Education resumed in the varsity which was closed during the Covid pandemic. Akin to TTD regular employees, the health scheme will be henceforth implied to the regular employees of Vedic Varsity also, he added. In an academic year, 40 Vedic students shall be given entry to do research. During the convocation, two exponents will be awarded Maha Mahopadhyaya and another two with Vachaspathi titles, he maintained.
In the HDPP EC meeting has decided to perform Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam in 59 important and major temples located in AP and TS on every Pournami day in a month. Similarly, we also want to commence Srinivasa Vratam soon, he added.

తిరుపతి 14 ఏప్రిల్ 2023: దేశంలో యూజిసి గుర్తింపు ఉన్న ఏకైక వేద విశ్వవిద్యాలయమైన శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర వేద విశ్వవిద్యాలయం సేవలు ఉత్తర భారత దేశంలోనూ విస్తరించాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీవైవి సుబ్బారెడ్డి తెలిపారు. ఏప్రిల్ 28వ తేదీ వేద విశ్వవిద్యాలయం స్నాతకోత్సవం నిర్వహించాలని నిర్ణయించామన్నారు .
తిరుపతి శ్రీపద్మావతి విశ్రాంతి గృహంలో శుక్రవారం సాయంత్రం టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీవైవి సుబ్బారెడ్డి అధ్యక్షతన వేద విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ కౌన్సిల్, హిందూ ధర్మప్రచార పరిషత్ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ కమిటీ సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించారు. అనంతరం చైర్మన్ ఈ వివరాలను మీడియాకు వెల్లడించారు. రుషికేష్ లో వేద విశ్వవిద్యాలయం సేవలు ప్రారంభించాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు.
ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న వేద పాఠశాలల్లో విద్యార్థుల సంఖ్య పెంచడానికి అవసరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించామన్నారు. వేద వర్సిటీలో పురాణ ప్రవచనం, యోగ, ధ్యానం అంశాల్లో ప్రత్యేకంగా సర్టిఫికెట్ కోర్సులు ప్రారంభించాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు చైర్మన్ వివరించారు. కరోనా కారణంగా వర్శిటీలో నిలిపి వేసిన ఆదర్శ వేద గురుకుల విద్యను పునః ప్రారంభించనున్నామన్నారు. టీటీడీ ఉద్యోగుల లాగే వేదిక్ వర్సిటీ రెగ్యులర్ ఉద్యోగులకు హెల్త్ స్కీమ్ అమలు చేయనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ఈ విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో 40 మంది విద్యార్థులకు పిహెచ్ డి ప్రవేశాలు కల్పించడానికి అనుమతించినట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు. వర్సిటీ స్నాతకోత్సవం సందర్బంగా ఇద్దరికి మహా మహోపాధ్యాయ, ఇద్దరికి వాచస్పతి అవార్డులు ఇవ్వాలని కౌన్సిల్ సమావేశం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుందన్నారు.
ప్రతి పౌర్ణమి రోజు తెలుగురాష్ట్రాలోని 59 ముఖ్య ఆలయాల్లో శ్రీసత్యనారాయణ స్వామి వ్రతం చేయాలని నిర్ణయించామన్నారు. అలాగే శ్రీనివాస వ్రతం ప్రారంభానికి ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు చైర్మన్ తెలిపారు.
