Tirumala, 31 August 2025: The 1052nd Avatar Mahotsavam of the renowned Sri Vaishnava Acharya, Sri Tirumala Nambi, was celebrated with grandeur on Sunday at the Sri Tirumala Nambi temple located in the South Mada Street, Tirumala.
As part of the celebrations, 16 eminent scholars delivered discourses on the life and contributions of Sri Tirumala Nambi at the temple premises.
It was recalled that Sri Tirumala Nambi, the maternal uncle and revered mentor of Bhagavad Sri Ramanujacharya and one of the foremost devotees of Lord Venkateswara, introduced the Theertha kainkaryam to the Sri Venkateswara.
Renowned as an Acharya Purusha, Sri Tirumala Nambi rendered special service to Sri Venkateswara by bringing the sacred waters for the Abhishekam.
The event was attended by Hindu Dharmic Projects Program Officer Sri Rajagopal, along with other scholars, priests, and TTD officials.

తిరుమలలో ఘనంగా తిరుమల నంబి 1052 అవతార మహోత్సవాలు
తిరుమల, 2025 ఆగస్టు 31: ప్రముఖ వైష్ణవాచార్యులు శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి 1052వ అవతార మహోత్సవాన్ని ఆదివారం తిరుమలలోని దక్షిణ మాడ వీధిలో గల శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి ఆలయంలో ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు.
ఇందులో భాగంగా శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి ఆలయంలో 16 మంది ప్రముఖ పండితులు శ్రీ తిరుమల నంబి జీవిత చరిత్రపై ఉపన్యసించారు.
భగవద్రామానుజుల వారికి స్వయాన మేనమామ, గురుతుల్యులు, శ్రీవారి భక్తాగ్రేసరులలో ఒకరైన శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారికి తీర్థ కైంకర్యం ప్రారంభించారని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఆచార్య పురుషుడిగా ప్రసిద్ధిగాంచిన శ్రీ తిరుమలనంబి శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి అభిషేకానికి సంబంధించిన పవిత్రజలాలను తీసుకొచ్చి విశేష సేవ చేశారని తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో హిందూ ధార్మిక ప్రాజెక్టుల ప్రోగ్రాం అధికారి శ్రీ రాజగోపాల్, ఇతర పండితులు, అర్చకులు, టీటీడీ అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
