ELABORATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR SRI KRT BRAHMOTSAVAMS -TPT JEO

TIRUPATI, MARCH 5: The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (Ttd) is all set for yet another mega religious event of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy annual Brahmotsavams in the temple city of Tirupati from March 18 to March 26.

Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar reviewed with various HoDs over the arrangements to be done for the big event in the temple premises on Thursday.

He instructed the engineering wing to erect queue lines with necessary barricading facilities and also to complete the minor repair works in the four mada streets in a week. “Also erect giant screens at Srinivasam and Vishnunivasam so that the pilgrims who are accommodated in these mega complexes to enable them witness the Vahanam processions and other spiritual programmes”.

He also directed the health department to see that the roads are maintained in clean and hygienic way. He instructed the garden wing to come out with interesting mythological themes like they did for Sri KT and Sri SKVST temples during last month which remained highlight during the annual Brahmotsavams of the respective temples.

He also instructed the temple officials to keep buffer stock of Annaprasadams to meet the demand of pilgrim crowd and also Sri Rama Koti cards. He also said to give vedasirvachanam to the devotees who present silk vastrams to the deities for the event. He instructed the Ttd vigilance, police to deploy enought security for the big event and also use the services of Srivari Seva volunteers for pilgrim crowd management and Prasadam distribution. He instructed the HDPP and Annamacharya project to come out attractive cultural programmes matching the occasion. Special programmes should also be arranged at Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini and in Mahati auditorium”, he said. He also instructed the medical wing, Dairy Farm to be ready with their respective arrangements.

Meanwhile speaking on this occasion the temple chief priest Sri Nandakumar Dikshitulu said, the festivals will last in the for almost fifteen days starting with Ankurarpanam on March 17, followed by Dhwajarohanam on March 18, Garuda Seva on March 22, Chakrasnanam on March 26. This will be followed by Sri Rama Navami on March 28, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on March 29, Sri Rama Pattabhishekam on March 30 and teppotsavams from April 1 to 3. Special Grade Deputy EO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi, Services Deputy EO Sri Siva Reddy.

Temple new deputy EO Sri Bhupathi Reddy, former Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, HDPP special officer Sri Raghunath, Dairy Farm Director Dr Harnath Reddy, Chief Medical Officer Dr N Vikas, EE Sri Jagdeeshwar Reddy, CI Smt Anju Yadav, senior officers of various departments were also present.
