16 CRORES DONATED TO LORD VENKATESWARA

Tirumala, 16 Apr. 13: US based entrepreneur Sri M.Ramalinga Raju has donated Rs. 16 crores to TTD towards various developmental activities and handed over the DD to TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju and Tirumala JEO K.S.Sreenivasa Raju in Srivari Temple in Tirumala on Tuesday morning.

Later speaking to media persons outside the TTD Chairman said out of this largesse Rs. 11 Crores has been donated to prepare Sahasra Nama Mala with 35kgs of Gold while another 5 crores will be utilised to construct Annaparasadam Bhavanam in the temple town of Tiruchanur. The Chairman also said the donor has also expressed his willingness to donate another Rs. 65lakhs towards the setting up of dhyana mandir at Srivari Padalu.

TTD Board Member Sri R.Srinivas, Addl FACAO Sri O.Balaji and others were present.
