24-HOUR NON-STOP HARIKATHA PARAYANA BEGINS IN MAHATI

Tirupati, 21 August 2014: The 24-hour non-stop Ahoratra Mahabharatha Harikatha Gana Yagnam began with pageantry in Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Thursday in connection with 150th Birth Anniversary of Harikatha Pitamaha Sri Madajjada Adibhatla Narayanadasa.

This event which started by 11am on Thursday will conclude by 11am on Friday. The various chapters of Sri Mahabharata have been narrated in an inspiring manner by eminent Harikatha Parayanadars during this event.
HDPP Special Officer Sri Raghnath, Principal of SV College of Music and Dance Smt YVS Padmavathi and others were also present.

Meanwhile the week long Harikatha Mahotsavams will conclude on August 24.
