340 VEDIC STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER INDIA TAKING PART IN SADAS

TIRUMALA, FEB 26: The 27th Veda Agama Vidwat Sadas will take place under the aegis of Veda Vignana Peetham at Dharmagiri in Tirumala from February 27 to March 6.

About 340 vedic students all over the country apart from Dharmagiri students will be taking part in the exams that are being conducted in 37 different subjects in Vedas, Agamas, Shastras, Puranas, Itihasas etc. The students topping the exams will be awarded with 5gm gold dollar and seconds will be given 10gm silver dollar.

Meanwhile the inaugural session will be attended by the TTD Trust board chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, mandarins of TTD, HH Tirumala Pedda Jiyangar and Chinna Jiyangar on Saturday by 10am.

Chaturveda Havana will also be performed in the four corners of the premises including Shrota Havans.

While renowned scholar Sri Garikapati Narasimha Rao will give spiritual address on Vedam-Ramayanam, Vedam-Mahabharatam, Vedam-Bhagavatham, Vedam-Kavyanatakalankaram from Feb 28 to March 2 respectively between 3pm and 5pm every day.

On the final day for valedictory function on March 3 at 2pm, former RSVP VC Sri Prahladachar, Bhashyakalrla Siddhanti Peetham Pontiff HH Sri Ramachandra Ramanuja Jeeyar will also grace the occasion.
