SOME IMPORTANT RESOLUTIONS OF TTD BOARD MEETING
Tirumala, FEB 2, 2014: The TTD board under the chairmanship of Sri K Bapiraju has taken some important resolutions in Annamaiah Bhavan on Sunday. Some excerpts:
The board has given nod towards the construction of spacious car parking complex at a cost of Rs.50cr at TTB area(near Mullakunta)
The board has agreed for the making of new Sahasra Nama Kasula Mala to Lord Venkateswara and a donor Sri Ramalinga Raju has come forward to donate for the precious jewel which will be made at a cost of Rs.11cr with 33kilos of gold.
The board has also given nod to prepare a new golden Vakshasthala Lakshmi to Sri Kalyana Venakteswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram at a cost of Rs.64lakhs
The board has approved towards the construction of Annaprasada Bhavan at Tiruchanoor at a cost of Rs.5cr, amenities complex at Mattepalle near Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy temple in Nalgonda at a cost of Rs.1.4cr, Lord Venkateswara temple at Kotapalle in Piler of Chittoor district at a cost of Rs.65lakhs.
The board has agreed for the purchase of 81 lakh kilos of Sugar at a cost of Rs.5.59cr, 2crore polythene covers to carry laddus, 22 lakh coconuts, 35thousand tins of Agmark Sunflower oil, 27thousand kilos of Cardomom.
TTD board has resolved to constitute new Local Advisory Committee(LAC) for New Delhi and Hyderabad information centres on the lines of Chennai.
Approved for the construction of new storage godown at Alipiri at a cost of Rs.6cr to preserve human hair
Board has given a three-year term extension to TTD-Agama scholar Sri Sundara Vadanacharylu
The board has unanimously sanctioned to pay Rs.43lakhs towards the medical expenses of the deceased husband of an employee Smt Rajeswari, considering the genuineness of the rare case on humanitarian grounds
The board has constituted a committee with Estates officer to fix the rates of the land which is to be allotted to provide house sites to TTD Employees
The board has also constituted a committee with CMO, CAO, GM(T), SE-II, DyEO Welfare, two employees to find out the best methods to implement benefits to TTD employees on health cards and reimbursements
