METLOTSAVAM OBSERVED

Tirupati, 23 March 2017: In connection with 514th Annamacharya Vardanthi fete, metlotsavam has been observed with religious fervour in Alipiri during the wee hours on Thursday.

Speaking on this occasion All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao said, about 50 bhajan teams with over 1000 members will be taking part in the Metlotsavam fete which was said to have commenced by none other than Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya.

Later the Sapthagiri Sankeertana Gosthi Ganam rendered by the bhajan teams enthralled the pilgrims who were trekking the Alipiri foot path route.

DyEO Smt Sarada, AEO Smt Padmavathi, Tallapaka descendant Sri Harinarayanacharyulu were also present.
