GET READY FOR KARERI ISHTI YAGAM IN MAY END

Tirumala, 15 May 2017: Tirumala JEO Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju today exhorted the Devasthanam officials to leave no stone unturned to provide devotee friendly service during the summer and ensure the full-length benefits to the common devotees.

Reviewing the arrangements to meet the challenges of Summer rush to Tirumala at the Annamaiah Bhavan this evening the Tirumala JEO said that VIP break privilege has been restricted to only Protocol individuals on Friday, Saturday and Sundays during this summer to make room for comfortable and peaceful darshan for the common devotees.

He said during the weekends also the Rs.300 tickets were provided online, APT, facilitate the post office and e-darshan counters for as many as 20,000 facilitate the devotees to common devotes.

The JEO also appreciated the VIPs and VVIPs for volunarily not visiting Tirumala during these week ends and also that the TTD took several advance measures to make common man pilgrimage a comfortable and spiritual experience.

He also instructed the engineering departments to remove the old flexies and also repaint the sign boards to that visitors could understand them.

KARERI ISTHI YAGAM BY MAY END

The JEO said that the TTD was organising a five-day prestigious and spiritual event- Kariristi yagam- which would beget timely rains and directed the engineering department officials to make all arrangements.

He said as part of the event Varuna japam, Amrut Varshini and Virat Parvam recital will be conducted.
