7 LAKH BUFFER LADDU STOCK, TRIAL RUN OF GARUDA SEVA ON SEP 16_ TTD EO

Tirumala, 6 September 2016: TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao has directed the officials to retain a buffer stock of 7 lakh laddus for sake of annual Brahmotsavams.

During the weekly review at the Annamayya Bhavan the TTD EO directed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for the Brahmotsavams commencing from October 3-11 and ensure that the scores of devotees would go back with pleasant memories and satisfactory darshan of Lord Srinivasa on the Vahana sevas.

Instructing the officials of all departments to prepare an action plan for providing more facilities for comfort of the devotees, Dr Sambasiva Rao said that adequate steps should be taken at all points- darshan, annaprasadam, accommodation and security.

He also asked the TTD officials to coordinate with the District police on the issues of bandobust, law and order and also traffic control.

The SVBC officials were also instructed to procure all necessary equipment for providing bright and colorful live display of vahana sevas and that the trial run of Garuda Seva, the stellar event of Brahmotsavams would be conducted on September 16.

He said the RO plants providing clean drinking water to devotees should be kept in order and CC cameras should be installed at Annaprasadam bhavan, Kalyana Katta and other prominent locations of Tirumala for better vigilance.

White washing should be done at all guest houses as per necessity. All devotees who get the seva tickets on lucky dip should produce their ID cards like Aadhaar, Passport etc, he said.
