TAKE UP PLANTATION PROGRAMME IN A MASSIVE WAY ON JULY 29

Tirumala, 26 July 2016: Following the clarion call given by the state government to take up massive plantation programme across the state on July 29 in the name of “Vanam-Manam”, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao also called upon the officials to involve employees, srivari seva volunteers and devotees also in the programme at Tirumala on the same day.

VANAM-MANAM PLANTATION PROGRAMME

Reviewing with the HoDs in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Tuesday the EO said, as TTD has already taken up the sandalwood plantation programme in a big way, some plants and seedlings can be planted at some places in Tirumala in a big way as a part of this innovative and noble programme.

TRAINING MODULES FOR DEPTS. IN SVETA

Later he instructed the HoDs of various departments to give proper training in their respective duty areas with an aim to extract better services from the staff members in SVETA by preparing training modules. The important departments includes Annaprasadam, Kalyanakatta, Reception, Srivari Seva, Vigilance etc.

EXCLUSIVE COMPLAINT/SUGGESTION NUMBERS

The EO also directed the EDP wing to send SMS to the pilgrims who had darshan in Rs.300 special entry darshan to send their feed back to TTD. “The pilgrims can suggest or lodge complaints to the toll free numbers and watsapp number of TTD which should be prominently displaying in both the foot path routes, at important congregation places in Tirumala etc.”, he added.

HEAVENLY GARDENS BEFORE ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS

Later the EO directed the garden wing of TTD to come up with concept gardens in all the important and prominent places in Tirumala apart from erecting Vertical Gardens in Vengamamba complex. “The floral garden beautification programme should end before annual brahmotsavams in Tirumala”, he instructed the Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu.

FENCING BEHIND REST HOUSES

To prevent the entry of wild beasts into the human habitats especially in the rest house areas, the EO instructed the forest wing and Engineering officials to erect fencing behind the rest houses which have proximity to forests.

MORE JALAPRASADAM UNITS

To provide more rich and free drinking water facility to the pilgrims, the EO instructed the Engineering wing to set up more Jalaprasadam units in pilgrim influx areas. He also instructed the Engineering officials to complete the works in main KKC, Divyadarshanam complex and all other pending works at a fast pace.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji and other senior officers were also present.
