25 CULTURAL TROUPES FROM 10 STATES AND SINGAPORE PRESENTED THEIR ART FORMS

Tirumala, 20 September 2026: The cultural performances by artists from different parts of India and abroad were a special attraction during the Hanumantha Vahana Seva, held on Sunday morning, the sixth day of the ongoing Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams at Tirumala.

As Sri Malayappa Swamy, accompanied by His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, blessed devotees on the Hanumantha Vahana along the four Mada Streets, cultural troupes from various States and Singapore presented their traditional art forms, adding grandeur to the spiritual ambience.

A Confluence of Diverse Art Forms

Artists from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry, Maharashtra, Odisha, Bihar, Karnataka, Manipur, Kashmir and West Bengal, along with artists from Singapore, showcased the cultural heritage of their respective regions through their outstanding performances.

The presentation of diverse art forms from different States and countries on a single platform reflected the rich cultural diversity of Indian traditions. The graceful dance performances and instrumental presentations captivated the devotees.

Hanumantha Vahana Seva Becomes a Visual Spectacle

The cultural performances, blending devotion, tradition and artistic excellence, added further splendour to the Hanumantha Vahana Seva. The performances proved to be a visual treat to the devotees who witnessed the procession of Hanumanta Vahanam.

A total of 681 artists belonging to 25 cultural troupes from 10 States and Singapore participated in the Hanumantha Vahana Seva and showcased their artistic talent.

TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra felicitated four cultural troupes that gave outstanding performances during the Vahana Seva with shawls.

The felicitated cultural troupes includes:

•  Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance: Sri Yogananda Vasu troupe – Bharatanatyam, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh – 23 artists.

•  Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad: Dr. Sinam Basu Singh troupe – Maibi Jagoi dance, Manipur – 10 artists.

•  Annamacharya Project: K. Sunitha troupe – Folk Dance, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh – 29 artists.

•  Dasa Sahitya Project: Sri M. Nrityodaya Academy troupe – Krishnaleela, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 30 artists.
