Tirupati, September 19, 2026 ; As part of the ongoing Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, a series of devotional, spiritual and cultural programmes were organised on Saturday, the fifth day, at Annamacharya Kalamandiram, Mahati Kalakshetram and Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini in Tirupati.
The programmes featuring devotional music, instrumental performances and classical dance enthralled music and dance lovers.
VIOLIN RECITAL AT SRI RAMACHANDRA PUSHKARINI
Jatin and Jaswin enthral audience with melodious violin recital
The violin recital organised by the TTD Annamacharya Project at Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini received an encouraging response from music lovers.
Young artistes Jatin and Jaswin presented a soulful violin recital, with Smt. Jaganmohini providing mridangam accompaniment.
The artistes presented several devotional compositions, including Vatapi Ganapatim in Hamsadhwani raga, Pahi Pahi Gajanana, Annamacharya’s Endaro Mahanubhavulu in Hindolam, Brahmamokkate in Bhouli, Narayana Te Namo Namo in Behag, Brahma Kadigina Padamu, Govinda Suta, Namo Namo, a Purandara Dasa composition, Adivo Alladivo and a Shambhu keerthana.
VOCAL CONCERT AT MAHATI KALAKSHETRAM
Dr. Sabari Girish enthrals audience with soulful rendition
A vocal concert by noted musician and Head of the Vocal Department of Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance, Dr. Sabari Girish, was presented at Mahati Kalakshetram.
He was accompanied by Komanduri Krishna on violin, Kotipalli Ramesh on mridangam and Sravan in vocal support.
The concert began with the Tyagaraja kriti Neevadane Kada, followed by Maakelara Rama, Muthuswami Dikshitar’s Sri Parthasarathi, and Tyagaraja’s Marugelara. The soulful renditions immersed the audience in devotional musical experience.
KATHAK DANCE PERFORMANCE
The Kathak dance performance by the Hari Chetana troupe from Bengaluru, led by a former student of Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance, captivated the audience.
The performance began with a Ganesha prayer, followed by Kasturi Tilakam and other compositions, presented with graceful expressions and rhythmic movements.
DEVOTIONAL MUSIC AT ANNAMACHARYA KALAMANDIRAM
At Annamacharya Kalamandiram, the Sri Phani Narayana troupe from Chennai presented a devotional music programme, while Kumari Srinidhi troupe from Hyderabad presented a vocal music programme. The performances were well received by the audience.
Music and dance enthusiasts of Tirupati witnessed the programmes and enjoyed the devotional and cultural performances.
