MUTYAPUPANDIRI VAHANAM-SYMBOL OF LOVE AND PEACE

Tirumala, 5 October 2016: On the pleasant evening of Wednesday, the Lord Malayappa Swamy flanked by His two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi was taken on a celestial ride on the finely decked pearl canopy around the four mada streets, giving a soothing feel to the millions of eyes.

BOND BETWEEN PEARL AND LORD VISHNU

In every incarnation of Maha Vishnu, pearl is considered to his favourite Navaratna, as it is the indication of peace and prosperity.
In Krishnavatara, Lord Sri Krishna is often described as wearing a fresh and precious pearl at the tip of his nose in the phrase-“Nasagre Nava Mouktikam” which shows his fond for pearl. Similarly Lord Venkateswara is often praised as “Mouktika Sragvi” as the one who wears a garland of precious pearls. While describing Sri Maha Vishnu it is said that the 1000 hoods of Adisesha appeared like an umbrella made of pearls.
In this way, the asocial between pearl and Lord Maha Vishnu are enticing.

BE PATIENCE AS PEARL

By taking celestial ride on the Pearl Bower Car, the Lord enlightens His beloved devotees to be cool and patient in emanating their emotions.
