TEMPLES ARE EPITOME OF SANATANA DHARMA-TTD EO

Tirupati, 14 November 2016: Describing temples as epitome of Hindu Santana Dharma, TTD EO called up on the students of SPWDPG College to associate themselves in this mass temple programme which would be henceforth observed all along the year.

The Eighth phase Managudi program took part in the Padmavathi Ammavaru temple located in the college premises in Tirupati on Monday. Speaking on this auspicious occasion the EO said, TTD has been observing this fete from the past four years. “This year onwards, this will be observed as a year long fete depending on the austerity of each month in Hindu calendar. Eighth phase will be observed in about 12,500 temples located across Telugu states. Apart from Srivari Seva Volunteers, Dharmaprachara members, scouts, public of respective places are also taking part in a big way. The same spirit should continue for ever. We are contemplating to organise Subhapradham-the summer training camp for children also in an improved manner”, he added.

In his address, Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar said, along with education, the students should know the importance of Sanatana Dharma, the ethics embedded in our philosophy so as to become the good citizens of this great country. “Through Managudi, we want to spread the awareness among the public about the importance of our dharma”, he maintained.

Later, Special Officer of All Projects of TTD Sri N Muktheswara Rao said, temples safeguards dharma like banks protect the water in the ponds from spill over.

Afterwards the sacred threads, Kankanams were distributed by EO, Jeo and SO to students.

IN GUDIMALLAM

While in Gudimallam, which is located about 22kms from Tirupati, in the famous and most ancient Parasurameswara Swamy temple of 2nd Century BC, Managudi was observed in a ceremonious manner on the auspicious Karthika Pournami day on Monday.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar, Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Dy EO Sri Dhananjeyulu, Superintendent Sri Gurunatham and others were also present.

The mass temple programme was also observed in Sri GT, Sri KT, Sri KRT, SV Goshala, SV Oriental College also in a grand way.
