METLOTSAVAM ON JAN 21

Tirupati, 20 January 2017: The Metlotsavam will be observed on Saturday as a part of the ongoing three day Traimasika Metlotsavam by Dasa Sahitya project of TTD.

This special puja to sacred steps at Alipiri foot path route will take place during the wee hours at 4:30am at Padala Mandapam. After the puja, thousands of bhajan troupes will trek the footpath route singing Dasa bhajans.

The project special officer Sri Anandateerthacharyulu is supervising the arrangements.

Meanwhile on Friday, the bhajan troupes have been trained in new keertans at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Chowltry in Tirupati on the second day. Earlier the day began at 5am with suprabhatam and the devotional activities continued till 8pm.
