AMENDMENTS ENSURED DARSHAN TO 7K MORE PILGRIMS-TIRUMALA JEO

Tirumala, 17 Apr. 17: The amendments implemented by the management in view of summer pilgrim rush, has ensured darshan to seven thousand more pilgrims during week ends, said TTD Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

The review meeting by JEO with all the HoDs in Tirumala held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, the JEO said, the recent decisions taken by TTD has enabled to provide darshan to more number of common pilgrims. “The restriction of VIP break darshan to only protocol VIPs during week ends has given way to provide darshan to over seven thousand common pilgrims. Similarly we have also taken decision to restrict the Rs.300 tickets to 20 thousands till the summer season which is yielding good results”, the JEO observed.

Later he instructed complimented all the wings for rendering good service to pilgrims during last week which witnessed heavy crowd pull including 80thousands on Friday, 93 thousandson Saturday and over 96 thousands on Sunday. “I wish you all to work with the same spirit in future too”, he added.

SE Sri Sudhakar Rao, DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, Sri Harindranath, Smt Jhansi, VGOs Sri Ravindra Reddy, Smt Vimalakumari and other officers were also present.
