ACTION PLAN TO STRENGTHEN MEDICAL SERVICES-TTD EO

Tirupati, 27 October 2016: Keeping in view the demand from pilgrims, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the medical officials to come out with a concrete action plan to strengthen the medical services with a special focus on pilgrims in Tirumala.

SPECIAL MEDICARE IN TIRUMALA:

A review meeting with medical wing took part in the chambers of EO in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Thursday. Reviewing on various aspects along with Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar, the EO instructed the Chief Medical Officer Dr N Vikas to immediately fill up the vacancies of doctors and paramedical staffs on outsourcing basis who are the best in their respective fields to cater the needs of pilgrims, with a special attention in Tirumala.

REGULAR ROUNDS BY DOCTORS

The TTD top brass officer directed the CMO to ensure that the doctors should go on regular rounds in all compartments for an interval of hour during the respective shifts. “Proper guidelines for standard operating practices is required and bring out a work manual”, he said.

WORK MANUAL TO TRAIN PARA MEDICAL STAFF

The EO also instructed the doctors to see that the paramedical staff should be in vicinity of pilgrims and should attend them immediately. “They should be properly trained with a work manual”, he added.

STRENGTHENING BLOOD BANK THROUGH CAMPS

The TTD administrative chief instructed the CMO to hold medical camps in TTD institutions, other educational and industrial institutions to bring awareness among the students over the blood donation. “Strengthen the blood donation in blood bank by holding monthly camps”, he maintained.
