APPEALS NON-LOCALS NOT TO COME IN VIEW OF COVID RESTRICTIONS
Tirupati, 19 Dec. 20: As TTD has prepared to issue offline tickets for Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam in Tirupati on December 24, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy appealed to non-locals not to come to Tirupati for offline tickets.
Along with local MLA and the TTD board special invitee Sri B Karunakar Reddy and Tirupati Urban SP Sri Ramesh Reddy, he inspected all the ticket issuing centres in the temple city on Saturday.
Later talking to media persons he said, as against the usual darshan provision to nearly one lakh devotees every year, this year due to Covid restrictions, darshan will be provided only to 35 thousand devotees, by strictly following all the Covid guidelines during Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam.
“For the first time we are opening Vaikuntha Dwaram for 10 days starting from December 25th till January 3rd. We have already issued 20,000 tickets in online for each day in Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan quota. We have also released 20000 SRIVANI tickets in online for these 10 days. Devotees from across the country booked these tickets and the entire online quota exhausted within few hours”, he added.
He said, TTD will release one lakh tickets for these 10 days for the sake of locals in offline at five earmarked centres in Tirupati on December 24 following all the Covid 19 norms. Due to prevailing Covid situation, this year we have decided to issue offline tickets only to locals for Vaikunta Dwara darshanam. So, we appeal to non-local devotees not to come to Tirupati for offline tickets as it may result in huge gatherings and might increase the chances of Covid as well also impact on law and order situation”, he observed.
Tirupati Urban SP said, elaborate policing arrangements will be made at these five counters and every Adhaar card will be scrutinized before tokens are issued to locals.

తిరుపతి 19 డిసెంబరు 2020: డిసెంబరు 25 నుంచి జనవరి 3 వ తేదీ వరకు శ్రీ వారి వైకుంఠ ద్వార దర్శనం కోసం టీటీడీ జారీ చేయనున్న సర్వ దర్శనం టోకెన్లు ఈ సారి స్థానికులకు మాత్రమే ఇవ్వాలని బోర్డు నిర్ణయించిందని అదనపు ఈఓ శ్రీ ధర్మారెడ్డి చెప్పారు. తిరుపతిలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఐదు కౌంటర్లను ఎమ్మెల్యే శ్రీ భూమన కరుణాకర రెడ్డి, ఎస్పీ శ్రీ రమేష్ రెడ్డి తో కలసి పరిశీలించారు. కౌంటర్ల వద్ద తోపులాట లేకుండా, స్థానికులనే అనుమతించేలా తీసుకోవాల్సిన ఏర్పాట్లపై అధికారులకు సూచనలు చేశారు.
అనంతరం శ్రీ ధర్మారెడ్డి మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు. డిసెంబరు 25 ఉదయం నుంచి జనవరి 3వతేదీ రాత్రి 12 గంటల వరకు భక్తులకు వైకుంఠ ద్వార దర్శనం చేయించాలని బోర్డు నిర్ణయం తీసుకుందని చెప్పారు. కోవిడ్ 19 నిబంధనల వల్ల రోజుకు 17 నుంచి 18 గంటల్లో 30 నుంచి 35 వేల మందికి మాత్రమే దర్శనం చేయించే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు. కోవిడ్ 19 నిబంధనలు కఠినంగా పాటిస్తున్నందు వల్లే జూన్ 8 నుంచి ఇప్పటి దాకా ఒక్క భక్తుడికి కూడా కోవిడ్ సోకలేదని ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఉద్యోగులకు మొదట్లో పాజిటివ్ వచ్చినా క్రమంగా అరికట్టగలిగామని అన్నారు. రోజుకు ర్యాన్డం గా 200 మంది భక్తులకు పరీక్షలు చేస్తుంటే ఒక్కరికి కూడా పాజిటివ్ రాలేదన్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం అమలు చేస్తున్న కోవిడ్ 19 నిబంధనలు పాటిస్తూనే రోజుకు 30 నుంచి 35 వేల మందికి వైకుంఠ ద్వార దర్శనం చేయిస్తామన్నారు. ఇందులో రోజుకు 20 వేల చొప్పున శీఘ్ర దర్శనం టోకెన్లు ఆన్లైన్ లో విడుదల చేశామని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
సర్వ దర్శనం టోకెన్లు అందరికీ అందుబాటులో పెడితే దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా భక్తులు తిరుపతికి వచ్చి కోవిడ్ 19 నిబంధనల ఉల్లంఘన జరుగుతుందన్నారు.దీనివల్ల తిరుపతిలో కోవిడ్ పెరుగుతుందనే భయాందోళనలు కూడా నెలకొన్నాయని శ్రీ ధర్మారెడ్డి చెప్పారు. పెరటాసి మాసం సందర్భంగా జరిగిన తొక్కిసలాటలు, శాంతి భద్రతల ఇబ్బందుల దృష్ట్యా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు ఆయన వివరించారు. ఈ కారణాల వల్ల సర్వదర్శనం టోకెన్లు స్థానికులకే ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించామని, స్ధానికేతరులు రావద్దని ఆయన విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
