ADDITIONAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AS PER FIRE SAFETY NORMS-TTD EO

TTD TO QUENCH THE THIRST OF WILD ANIMALS WITH TERTIARY WATER

Tirumala, 2 May 2017: “Set up additional fire extinguishers as per fire safety norms in all the required places in Tirumala”, instructed TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The weekly review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday by TTD EO along with Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju with senior officers in Tirumala.

The EO instructed the vigilance wing to also place CC cameras near Akshaya kitchen in VQC as a safety measure.

Later he directed engineering and forest wing officials to supply the treated water which is potable to the wild beasts in the ghat roads to quench the thirst of fauna from the scorching temperatures. “You have completed the tertiary water pipe line in up ghat road and now the you can arrange water in saucers in forests for the sake of wild animals”, he added.

On the engineering front the EO instructed the officials concerned to complete the Sarva Darshanam Complex in next three months. “It should come up better than Seeghra Darshan and Divya Darshan complexes with all facilities including laddu tokens, luggage deposition etc.”, he insisted.

He instructed the electrical wing to complete LED lighting in all the rest houses also and also the pending electrical works relating to sandalwood plantation.

The EO instructed the engineering wing to remove the vacant computer counters in VQC 1 so as to provide seating to more number of pilgrims.

He instructed the PRO Dr T Ravi to run the 20 laddu counters with best Sevakulu who are educated and have computer knowledge. “We have enhanced the laddu counters from 10-20 including six laddu cover sale counters. These counters should provide best services to pilgrims”, he maintained.

He later directed the IT wing officials to develop a separate soft ware application for Udayasthamana Seva devotees.
